    You forgot to loosen pinch bolts before the final tightening of the Axle nut. Aren’t you supposed to loosen those first, torque the nut, then torque the pinch bolts? Or am I missing something?????

    • @con404
      @con404  Год назад

      Not sure if I got you right but how can you tight the nut with loosen pinch bolts.

    • @bmaksymiw
      @bmaksymiw 6 месяцев назад

      After aligning forks, you tightened the non-captive side pinch bolts. The axle won't spin with those tightened. He is asking if you should now loosen the captive side(nut side) pinch bolts before tightening the nut, and then retighten the pinch bolts on the nut side after the nut is tight.@@con404

    Could you post a video on how to remove the shroud? Mine has a crack near one of the top post. I believe if I could remove it myself I would be able to plastic weld it thereby fixing it. Thank you.

  • @MrSlappy42
    @MrSlappy42 Год назад +1

    Why are you wasting time wiggling the stand? That does nothing but possibly break the stand sooner. You need to remove the front stand and push down on the triple clamp to compress the suspension for a better alignment of the pads and calipers.
