That thing about having a market for one or related products in the same location is a very Indian thing. Because Indians love to bargain, and want value for their money, so if you have an entire market of the same products in the same location, both the buyers and sellers benift. Eg; in any city or town in India, there will be a hardware market or automotive spare parts or electrical parts market. It's the reverse of competition, the genuine buyer's come to you, and somebody/ everybody gets business.

The army on villages close to the border also provides protection and development activities. Patrolling in other areas is done by CRPF.
