After being invited by my friend Isha to join her to Kashmir it was time to experience this region in its autumn glory. Starting in Srinagar! All those places have a thick haze blanket, which ruins the entire scenery, even though the landscape formation is pretty good. I didn't expect the Dal Lake area to look this hazy and dusty. I thought Kashmir could be an exception out of all the places in India, but I was totally wrong. I can't find crystal-clear blue water and a blue sky there. It would have looked beautiful if there weren't any haze around.

Srinagar in Kashmir has been on our radar scene for a while. Hopefully, Harriet and I will make our way there next year. The gardens look fabulous, the autumn colors remind us of home.

South india is very different from north india and the himalayan regions/states ( kashmir, sikkim etc) are again very different from even north india. Then comes the the north eastern indian states which are completely different in all aspects from any other region of india. India is incredibly diverse.

Those aren't regular sweet apples. They are called "bamb tsoonth" in kashmiri (quince apples in English). Only used in cooking.

Come to northeast india u can see different type of people language beauty
You can visit North East India, specially Nagaland cause from 1dec they started the states biggest cultural festival . You can experience completely different food, culture, clothing it's completely different. And you can visit Sikkim, Manali etc ... You should and don't forget about Andaman and Nicobar Islands or Laxadweep islands to experience heavenly beaches 🏖️ with almost no one around.

One thing I must tell you if you are from the West and you are getting bald, yet you feel confident then you can be like Johnny Sins. If you don't feel confident then you can go for a hair transplant in India. Also, you can buy a neem comb in India and use it.

I will tell you three songs from three corners of India:
1) Thaikuddam Bridge: Navarasam (Kerala)
2) Parvaaz: Colour White (Kashmir)
3) Zaii Hauchhum and Vanlalhmangaiha: Hmangaihte Hmangaihna (Mizoram).
The third song came out in 2022 and if you listen to this song, it is better than all the songs in the Top 50 English songs, Bollywood Songs and K Pop songs of 2022. There is also a live version with Zaii Hauchhum and David Darlong of this song and it sounds like it is straight out of Montreux Jazz Festival.

Hey you could've (and should've) gone inside the Shah-e-Hamdan shrine. Your dress was very appropriate and in fact there's a women only section at the back as well - although you could also enter the main entrance without any issues also. To admire the architecture, skill and craftsmanship up close is an altogether different experience. :)

You were in Shalimar Garden and you didn’t shot in Marble Pavilion of Shalimar Garden. You missed to capture a heritage monument. And 95 % of Kashmiri food is Non Veg and you should try our Wazwan.
I would recommend you to have wazwan at JJ foods in wazpora, Rajouri Kadal.
