Both choices are awesome! But it'll depend on their development. You might wanna look into the new 1080p hdzero camera. It's awesome cause you could switch between 1080/30 @40ms and 720/60 @20ms locked latency, I might end up just using WS with its 4K onboard recording on rigs without gopro... you'll never know
@@r.eyvprdctnjust started testing this week, the stock setup is pretty weak, even at 1200mW and High Bitrate. Upgrading the antennas is my nexts step. I’ll be sharing my initial results this week. I subscribed so curious to see what your future tests and setups. Cheers

@@r.eyvprdctn Yup, that’s my current setup (HDZ Goggles, WS and ELRS) seems to work well, but only flying around my backyard so far, but will push the range further after some antenna upgrades. The test quad is only 5” so won’t be going too far… but we’ll see. ✨
Hi ! Amazing video , subbed ! I have trouble with GPS too, Matek m8 and beitan 880 too, you said you solved with M10 gps , which position you mounted the vtx and the gps on the build ?
Yes, I'm using the Matek M10 Gps and it's mounted in the rear right behind the Vtx antennas in a tpu mount. I guess every M10 chip will do more than 12 satellites like that (hglrc m10 is coming out soon).
I will do some pure range testing next week, this was just a Breakup test. I guess the system will make really good range once I upgrade to better patch antennas (especially ant1) but let's see what the stock ones could deliver...
So I am new to the HD world of FPV, can you tell me more about your goggle setup? So I get you are running a Walksnail VTX in the quad, of course. In the drone setup it says your Goggles are FS HDO and Vrx is TBS Fusion / Walksnail but how is the TBS Fusion playing a role in the digital Walksnail signal coming from the VTX? Are you using the Walksnail Avatar Vrx Kit which connects to your HDOs? I have HDOs as well and was just curious. BTW... That video is incredible. Nice soaring!
Hey, I'm using the Fatshark HDOs with the wallsnail vrx attached via 3d printed quick release and some velcro. Tbs Fusion/ Walksnail is just my laziness, I was only using the Walksnail system for flying Walksnail models. Although I had an idea to put analog and digital in one model for range testing, but the T1 is not big enough for sure. The Hdos are great for the Walksnail system cause you could use the full screen without cropping and set 1080 p in the vrx which makes menu and osd cristal clear. Thank you very much :)
I'm struggling with GPS too...I've a 4'' flywoo LR but I'm tryin' various position for the gps because of the vtx interferences. So it would be interesting try a new GPS hardware.
I use the yellow goku GPS from flywoo and that works perfect 20 sats. Have it mounted on an armbrace and also grounded the copperfoil to a ground pad on the FC. Good luck!
There was nothing to fix.. This is Focus mode with improves the picture quality in the middle of your screen and blurs the edges when signal falls below a certain threshold
@@r.eyvprdctn Thanks for sharing the wonderful view! Just a question from a walksnail user. I haven't used the focus mode yet. sometimes when my signal is about to brake up i get some stutters. do you recommend using focus mode as a kind of alarm to get back, because if you go further you'l lose signal? I mean it's kinda scary when things get pretty stuttery in my goggles haha. Thanks friend. subbed!
@@Michelsen3K Thanks for your comment ☺️ First of all there was a new Firmware release which I haven't tested at all. On the old firmwares Focus mode was activated once the Bitrate dropped from 25 to 14 mbps and affected my field of view drastically. This was even worse when using it on a wing and I was afraid to crash into the mountain without even seeing it. On the other hand it reminded me to look back up again or to move my head to the side. So if you're flying inside a radius where you're able to maintain full Bitrate, use it, but if you plan to fly further away or behind obstacles I would rather not (I made a penetration test with trees and Focus mode on/off in another video). If not you might need to monitor your Bitrate on the bottom of the screen to avoid stutters and you might activate the red warning bars. I'll test the current software soon...
@@hairlessstyle3489Lol this is my first video on this channel with digital.. The moment you see the bottom left screen disappear, my googles went black. In my opinion analog doesn't just go black, there are just more and more ants running over your screen. The point of this video was to provoke a complete Blackout by flying behind the ridge and testing how long it takes the vrx to reconnect again. In this particular case every system would have gone black immediately.
beautiful
Thank you so much😊
Great video. Thanx for the info. I am getting the Walksnail setup soon. You helped sell me on that vs hd zero.

Amazing
Thank you :D
Curious, what’s your antenna setup? (Avatar Goggles, or VRX?)
I’ll be range testing the WS system in the coming weeks.

Sry, forgot to add to my description.
Will be quite interesting to see how far I could push it with this setup.

Where is the blackout?
Watch it in real time at 2:45 and 4:30 where I lost signal for several seconds but regained it as soon as visual line of sight was established again
