    I like what you did there. After watching this I took a cheap tool box foam and found some micro six led uv light strip and made a charge box that also stores the spoons in a standing position. That way I don't have another box on my small boat. 🤣

    Awesome idea! Going to try making this! Another instruction I found mentioned soldering wires so I was worried that was the only way. So excited I found yours because I see you do fishing reports for Frankfort too! I was meant to find you... lol

    Awesome! Couldn't find any battery powered small lights I liked so I went with the flashlight style. It works great!

    Thank you for the great videos! Just found your channel a few days ago. Have been bass fishing for years, fished for salmon in the rivers of Alaska many years ago. New to Great Lakes Trolling. Can you do a video on how you rig various lures? Do you use a snap-swivel to connect directly to the spoons or to the split ring? Why use a snubber and what side of the Dipsey do you attach it? I am sure experienced folks know this, but I don’t. If this was in a video already, please let me know. Thank you!

    Right on Chris. Wondering if it would be beneficial to line the box with tin foil?
    Could you please provide a link to where you bought the UV lights in your description please?

      I found them on eBay under a seller named deadhead props. Last I checked he was sold out.

    How long does a lure normally stay charged for ? Seemed you had to recharge fairly quickly after removing from the light box ?

    • @tangledtacklefishing
      @tangledtacklefishing  3 года назад +2

      Depending on the brand anywhere from a half an hour up to several hours.

      I’m fishing a different kind of lake. It was formed by a meteor strike. It’s 400’ deep. Most things I read on lake trout say in winter they are in 40-60 feet. This lake if u hit that depth you will catch one a day. I fish between 120-160 and my best day was 15 including a few hogs.... 30” plus.

      Sounds like a fantastic fishery. What lake is it?

      @@tangledtacklefishing Sounds like it is probably West Hawk Lake in the Whiteshell Provincial Park in southeastern Manitoba, Canada. Very popular lake trout fishery.

      Jeff Reynolds unfortunately no. They were on ebay but the seller isn’t selling them any longer.
