- ■ AMSTERDAM, NETHERLANDS: Amsterdam are full of boats cruising around with tourists eager to experience the maze of man made canals that makes this city such a unique experience. There are large boat that fits 100 people or more per journey. And then there is Ambolux, the family run company where YOU can be the only passenger with your own private captain if you so wish. Here is the full video of my luxury boat your of the Amsterdam canals.
■ There are many canal boat tours advertised around Amsterdam, but when I asked my hotel for the one they'd recommend for the ultimate in luxury and service, they came back with Ambolux. It's a family run company which has been going for 5 years. The manager at my hotel told me a lot of the boat tour operators approach the hotel asking to cooperate.
Having thus tried several different ones herself, so she could in good conscience recommend one to her hotel guests, she concluded that Ambolux was the best.

English is the current “lingua franca”. In medieval europe, it was latin and greek. Colonial europe it was french. Since the great wars, it is english.

I’m British and I love visiting Amsterdam. Perfect weekend break if you ask me. Got to love the cafes, few joints and have some weed. Then red light district at night. Can’t beat it. If I go back next year I may have to do this tour.

@@JeffsHappyPlace it's squeezed between the white house and the brick house next to it. Its just one meter in width. You can kinda see it in the video. Matter of fact, there are multiple houses like that in Amsterdam.

I feel like a tourist in my own home town.
Love this videos, but there are more interesting places then Amsterdam: Leiden, Gouda, Haarlem, Delft, Utrecht, Maastricht, Zutphen, Leeuwarden. Maybe a cheese market, or castle. Most tourists only see Amsterdam, but there is much more. Visit Waddensea area, the Frisian lakes or islands. Veluwe, Utrechtse heuvelrug, the dutch hills in southern limburg.
Wow, thanks for the tip. Holland is one of the most beautiful countries in the world, even though I lived there almost 10 years I didn't visit a lot of the places you suggest, now that I can go back to Holland I'll definitely write down these places and try to visit them.
