This request may be a stretch, but I would like to see how this truck performs on a comp course in comparison to your stock TRX4 and one of your comp rigs. We know this is not a comp built truck, but would give people an idea of what is possible and at what costs. Enjoying this build series
Scale trail run, it's a trail rig build so I think that'll be great. Just be sure to hit a trail with some challenges for that beast of a rig your building!💪💪💪
I did put another smaller reciverbox on my trx4 (i cut the stock one) . That meant i could fit the esc on the same side in front of transmitter on the chassie. On the other side of the chassie i therefore could put the battery (with just a strap). That will make a improvment for cog. Maybe you could cutt away the stock trailer hitch from stock bumper if you using them, it likes to get stuck on it otherwise. Best thing tbh is to get rid of that stock body for something smaller. I choosed a smaller proline wrangler body (113mm unlimited) and sawed of the whole frame and parts of the side chassie to make it fit. The performance of the truck is miles and miles from stock. I would love to see you build a FPV setup for this car!
I love the Elelement T-shirt from a Vanquish guy who supports Axial building a Traxxas. When may the two links needed to build a Vanquish chassis Traxxas axel rig be available? Would love to start my “Vanqass” build or “Vaxialassion” however you break down parts from as many different manufacturers as possible 👍 I want to see the Vanqass Powerwagon comparison of course!
You should check out the Auburn confluence. lots of technical and vertical terrain. from Auburn go down 49 towards cool with it's right there North fork River right there after the bridge. that's where all the A-Town guys go for Friday Night lights
I just put 2 white and 2 red in my new truck. Plug into the bind port on the receiver. Jobs a gooden, and I didn’t spend any money doing so. All old parts
Did you just say “rocket surgery”? Nice lol I don’t even have a trx, but am a light kit rookie so I appreciate your detailed video. Always good stuff, bud
I have a traxxas light kit and a Hobbywing 1080, I cut off the jst plug and put a receiver plug on and popped it into the program port. I also fitted an electronic switch to the wire that plugged into the receiver so I can turn the lights on and off with my transmitter.
Josh. I've been looking at the Bowhouse low center of gravity battery tray. I feel this would be great for performance as well as make the chassis look better. BTW enjoyed the Axialfest videos. Keep up the good work. Thanks, Lucky.
Personally, I would love to see it trudging thru some deeper standing water and mud. It would also be cool to really test out those axles and servo on some steep downhill rocks!
I try to be interested in the TRX-4 It's just so dang hard to get excited about it. I don't know you have any local events? Would be interesting to see what type of events is normally ran around your region.
Running video should be with your rtr TRX4 sport to show the differences in the upgrades done to this kit version. To show if these upgrades have helped or hurt this build!!
I'm glad this was not Rocket surgery or Brain science!!! I love the orange wheels and driver suits, they really pop out with the body color. What are you doing with the removed axle parts, interested in selling them? I'm in Sacramento. I would like to see this run at Donner if you have access, the terrain there is amazing.
Light kit I'm good with (have on my Sport as well). But is the 'strength' upgrade really needed given you're running a brushed motor and 1080? Seems total overkill.
Good shout on the machined portal gears and both me and my son have managed to strip the stock ones on really tough terrain only in the rear though strangely. Are the machined gears in the front (the rears aren’t as you said) compatible with the stock axle shafts do you know? It’s not a cheap upgrade so would preferably just upgrade the gears if possible 👍🏻
Matt beat you to losing the portals. What's up with that? You should run it in the most diverse terrain you can find. Rock piles are cool, but getting a bit over-done. -"Angry" Dave
Shoot the running video INSIDE the VP facility!
lol

Much better choice than deleting the portal axles. 👍
😂

Total Rc I second this recommendation. 👍🏼

Incline ability and side hills are something I always focus on, I'd definitely like to see those 2 things
Rocket Surgery! Lol! I love that Element t shirt while you work on the TRX4. Matt did the portal delete I recommended to you a few episodes ago. Lol.
I really enjoy watching Harley's videos!

I was finishing that up yesterday. Hope to have them in the site this week or next.
You should add a little glue to the headlight lens clips. I lost both lens my second time out, and traxxas does not sell replacements.
Great tip
Would like to see the vs410 Pro run next to trx4 sport...
Nothing wrong with gray..lol my favorite color. Pro is a military gray with burnt orange wheels
Glad you didn't untraxxas your Traxxas too.
HAHAHAHA!
🤣
I can't wait to see Axial's new buggy!
Run it against your VS4 pro.through a gated comp style coarse.
I like that idea.
Plenty of good comments on where to run. Choose wisely or run on two different location/type of terrain. Great videos!!!
Just joined the build. I like your ideas. Cant wait to see what the end brings.
You should check out the Auburn confluence. lots of technical and vertical terrain. from Auburn go down 49 towards cool with it's right there North fork River right there after the bridge. that's where all the A-Town guys go for Friday Night lights
Pretty cool build. RC tank is running old hangouts man. Fair play to you you’ve came a long way
Lights ,camera ,action
Rocket Surgery??? That’s a first for me😆🤦🏼♂️😆
I just put 2 white and 2 red in my new truck. Plug into the bind port on the receiver. Jobs a gooden, and I didn’t spend any money doing so. All old parts
Great Budget Build Josh 👍 I would really love to see some awesome Rock Jumping in the upcoming Running video 🙏🏻 thanks a lot in advance 👍
Thank you for another awesome video and all the info provided!
Love to see the Sport vs VS410 Pro comparo in a comp-style setting..... It does sound like a fun comparison.
And a few other suggested it...fun , fun.
So happy you didn’t apply grease to the gears with the edge of a razor blade this time.
Did you just say “rocket surgery”? Nice lol I don’t even have a trx, but am a light kit rookie so I appreciate your detailed video. Always good stuff, bud
Run it next to the VS4 10 pro. I would like to see the two of the best do what the do.
I have a traxxas light kit and a Hobbywing 1080, I cut off the jst plug and put a receiver plug on and popped it into the program port.
I also fitted an electronic switch to the wire that plugged into the receiver so I can turn the lights on and off with my transmitter.
I know this is an older video but worth a try. Will this work if you are using a 3s lipo?
Thx
Looking great ..keep up thr great content.....

I would like to see how it side hills compared to a SCX 10.
Would it be possible to see some side hil climbing and steeper inclines?
Personally, I would love to see it trudging thru some deeper standing water and mud. It would also be cool to really test out those axles and servo on some steep downhill rocks!

You should run it next to the axial honcho in the running video
I sold the honcho off after the build series.
Thanks for nice videos, please! what kind of interior is in the car? looks great and seams not to be heavy👍👍👍
Axial Bomber, I cover it in one of the earlier weeks.
Running video at Folsom Lake with the Vs410 chassis with traxxas trx4 axles & this one. With you driving one other driver driving other one.
Running video should be with your rtr TRX4 sport to show the differences in the upgrades done to this kit version. To show if these upgrades have helped or hurt this build!!

I've kept all the take off parts in a box. I don't know that I'll keep this truck forever so when I sell it I'll just include all the spares.
Since it's mostly a trail truck now, do you regret the underdrive, overdrive install?
We shall see. If it’s too much of a drag, I can always swap them back out.
Reprise the G6 trail that was used at Axialfest.
Light kit I'm good with (have on my Sport as well). But is the 'strength' upgrade really needed given you're running a brushed motor and 1080? Seems total overkill.

Rocket surgery 🚀 🥼 🤣
If it's not Rocket surgery is it RC surgery.DR.Harley Thanks for the video
I would love to see it the stock sport up against this one and would love to see hills in the back ground of the video
" This isn't rocket surgery " 🤣
Back to Donner with all the mosquitoes;)
Matt beat you to losing the portals. What's up with that? You should run it in the most diverse terrain you can find. Rock piles are cool, but getting a bit over-done. -"Angry" Dave
🚀🚀😷🤕😃😂,kinda like rocket science
Lets see how it drives in the mud.
Try and break it, then upgrade
Take it to tha zoo ! I here TRX’s like it there 😂
Do an enduro build!
Rocket surgery..... 🧐🤔😂😂😂
Im really bummed that you didn’t add a couple of scale bedrolls.....
Performance...... meh!
What is rocket surgery? 🤔
It's like brain science, only harder.
RC Crawlers Mid-Wales 😂🤣
I want to see it in a cave
Too much shaft talk... starting to get questionable...
Jump or crawl over another rc
Looking good and looking forward to what all comes next.
