Really enjoyed watching the different designs that both you and Josh had for the kit. It shows the creativity and inspires me to work on my rc skills to build mine in my own way. Thank you.
Thank you for you hard work to create content for us, your impatient and nefarious followers. Seriously, just want to say I enjoy all your videos and it makes getting through the days devoid of tiny truck stuff much more tolerable!
I love watching the budget builds both you and Josh did a great job. I actually like the portal delete and maybe doing it to mine. I think maybe the Enduro truck would be a good budget build or maybe get away from a crawler and do a basher kind of build. Maybe think out side the box. Maybe a budget build with the Hummer you reviewed. As a 21 year US Navy Seabee retired have a lot of time driving and working on those rigs. Thanks again Matt for all the ideas.
Awesome job! I have had fun watching both of you build the TRX4 and it helped me build my Class 1 ReconG6 "The Fix" build I was doing! Still a lot of love going to the portal deletes which is what started my current build back in March!
Love the final result. The truck seems to sit much nicer without the portals. Next build, how about an apocalypse truck on the platform of your choice.
I'm going to agree with you I like the fact that you took the portals out. Been thinking about doing it to my Defender when I put the Pro-Line Chevrolet Stepside body on it and shortening the wheelbase. I think it makes more scale with the ability to lock and unlock the differentials makes it a better challenge. I like to go out with my diffs open just to see what all I can accomplish with open diffs. And then use the lock her to dig my way out.
2 ideas: Budget Build on the most budget friendly truck the Redcat Gen8 or set a hard low cost dollar amount that you have to buy and build up a used truck from craigslist, offer up etc. ....Love the channel, new to the hobby
Honestly BUDGET build! Redcat gen 8 pack. It starts with budget. This would also give the redcat hate crew some insight on this truck capabilities! I’d be more than happy to join that build and follow along!
Thank you very much for doing the portal delete kit, I was unaware of the SSD kit to do this. I will now be doing this to my truck as I was unhappy with the performance of my TRX4 sport the way it was. I have to practically bottom out the suspension to get the truck down to a reasonable height the way the truck is stock. So thank you very much for opening my eyes to this kit. Love your channel, keep up the great work!
I think the portal delete helped the performance, the wheel tuck looks really nice too. I didn't like the trx4 but after watching yours and josh's builds id like to have one.
Great job. I would hope for the element rc enduro next. Probably 10-12 weeks so it doesn't get so long for you and Josh. We could probably watch a 20 week build but that would suck for you guys. Thanks again.
Nice build!! Love that you removed the portals. Maybe do a leaf sprung truck for the next budget build off. I know how much josh loves leaf sprung trucks 😀👍!
Very inspiring Matt! I have started to build along. Budget is a little weak if im honest but im getting it piece by piece. You should do a dream truck build off. Build it your way with parts you want from wherever you want.
I would like to see a build just using parts ordered on the web. No kit just building something that you both think is cool. I did and it was fun and exactly the parts I wanted. Always look forward to these build-offs no matter what it is.
Great build man! I have greatly appreciated following along with this particular series. I think that considering it is already an expensive, and VERY popular platform, a budget build off of a RC4WD TrailFinder 2 is in order and would be SUPER helpful to me personally.
Scale Builder's Guild well I think your experience with the TrailFinder 2 platform will greatly contribute to a budget series. Maybe a “tiny tire” Class 1 Leafer Build Off?!?!? I know that whatever you guys decide on will be fantastic. Thanks for what you do brother 🤙🏻
I'd like to see a class 2 competition style build where you both start with maybe a vanquish chassis kit and the axles of your choosing. I see alot of videos where you guys mentioned "if I was going to compete I'd maybe do xyz".. It would be awesome to just see you both go for a hardcore comp build. I'm a newbie and still don't really understand what a typical comp build entails. Awesome series btw!
Thanks for the awesome series, you gave me tons of inspiration for my current crawler builds. I must say I love your running videos as well. I just can't stand watching all these other pinheads on RUclips "crawling" (bashing) their tiny crawler trucks, but you my friend do some fine work and some fine driving. I can't wait for the next series - I'd love to see a budget build series of a RR10 Bomber built for speed and jumps and sand and ...other stuff (mostly because I'm attempting this myself and need ideas haha). I know the platform is old news and won't be done but that's my wish. Keep up the awesome work and have a great day. Cheers!
The Element and SSD rigs look really sweet maybe you build one and Josh the other? 🤷🏼♂️ I would like to see a frame rail up build utilizing as many different manufacturers as possible. Your time spent has provided me with a ton of awesome info and fun through this build, you guys are awesome 👌
This whole series was really cool and informative. Being new (and now obsessed) with rc crawling, the info that you and Harley put out really helped with deciding on choosing TRX4 Sport as my first kit. Watched all the vids over the last week (between the 2 of you) and can't wait to get started. Thanks for the content man.
Loved the video series. What about doing the next on the Trailwalker that you got prereleased to you. You could be one of the first to really customize a new vehicle and come up with ideas for aftermarket parts and accessories.
Great series, well done and it's been a lot of fun to follow the builds! It would be good to do the next budget build with one of the newcomers to the market such as the Element Sendero or SSD Trail King.
You are totally right I think it looks Dang Awesome!!!!! I'm going to try it myself AWESOME BUILD MI BIG BRO!!!!!!! HARLEY RESIGNS ALL THE WAY HA LOL!!! SBG 4 LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!! 😀👍🤙🇺🇸💜
Great job man, especially deleting of portals. You are the first who did it, what I seen it.👍 Next go for Element RC Enduro, not Sendero, but chassis kit. btw, I love kits 😉
The element would be the obvious choice next since everyone but me owns one! Or the vs4-10 would be popular too! But I want to see the SSD trail king! Pretty sure that’s where my money’s going next if not to an rc4wd! And sweet build! Nice axle swap too!
Awesome build, and great series. I would like to see you and Josh do the Element budget build. It is such a popular rig with so much hype around it, i am curious to see how far you guys can go with one. 👍👍👍👍👍
Great series Matt, even if I had to endure Josh’s videos, lol. All kidding aside you guys gave me a lot of great ideas for my sons big birthday surprise!
Gale Scuilder's Build rocks! Although I do detect some torque twist since the pumpkins were lowered. As for the next build-off, I suggest the Primal RC 1/5 Raminator. Looks pretty low cost & easy.
Do a budget build of the traction hobby cragsman!!! I know these are a lot of work but they're by far my favorite videos either you or Josh have put out
A budget budget build off! on a cheaper platform such as the FTX OUTBACK 2 or ECX BARRAGE. would be interesting to see how much performance you could get out of those cheaper rc crawlers. Always enjoy this series whatever you choose to do😉😉👍
I think that a Gen 8 would be a challenging build, mainly due to the fact that there is not a huge aftermarket for it yet. It would require quite a bit of "out of the box" thinking.
Awesome. Maybe a Gen8 or Enduro Sandero next? Not sure what is available for aftermarket parts yet on these vehicles, it may present an added challenge.
This has been an incredible journey, no doubt about it. I suppose if you throw $800 at a $300 kit, it should be an epic truck by the end. For the next budget build off.....how about doing it on a tamiya sand rover, I think that would really be a challenge for the both of you. Great finish to the build off. 🤠👍👍🤠
Beautiful truck, good sir. It’s nice to see the light kit operational. As far as another build off goes, what about a scale build off using the SSD builder’s kit, or something along those lines?
an ecx barrage would be a good challenge for a budget build. swb, parts availability is a little bit of an issue... but they're very budget friendly and have a ton of opportunity for effective upgrades
Another thing I would like to see is hidden body mounts on the next budget build. Hidden body mounts are paramount in my scale builds. I tend to go with more form than function so I always like to add sound as well. Most of my crawling is by myself or with family and friends so I like to hear the sound of a V-8 engine rather than gears churning in the transmission.
Great series, and I appreciate the work you put into it. Wanted to build mine along the same time line, but this was not a summer for doing much RC. I might make a last ditch effort to get my kit body painted, though, before we run out of proper weather (I lack an indoor space for that), so that I could take my time and build it this fall/winter. Probably just a pipe dream! Hahaha...
Mark my vote down for a TF2 build. Honestly just recently started watching your stuff but have been watching Josh for a couple years. Great builds and I've enjoyed watching some of your other videos as well. Let the haters hate man, like you said that's the beautiful thing about this hobby there are different options for everyone out there.
Element Enduro should be your next budget build. Thanks for this budget build. It gave me a lot of ideas. I really enjoyed it!
Thanks Bryan!
with the gspeed chassis!
YOU KEEP BUILDING AND I WILL KEEP WATCHING!!!!!!
Okeydokey!
Time and money, always gets the best of you. Words of wisdom. Looks like the truck performs very good.
Element RC would be cool.
Thanks very much!
I enjoyed this series, looking forward to the next build off. With that said, I've got just one word for you: Tamiya Lunchbox
HAHAHAHA! Yes!
Epic build man ! The next build could be the enduro sendero
Great idea! The rolling chassis version to boot 😃
Good choice man!
NC 🖒.. Looking forward to..
GHOSTSplayer 573 or the trailwalker
Really enjoyed watching the different designs that both you and Josh had for the kit. It shows the creativity and inspires me to work on my rc skills to build mine in my own way. Thank you.
So many possibilities!
Thank you for you hard work to create content for us, your impatient and nefarious followers.
Seriously, just want to say I enjoy all your videos and it makes getting through the days devoid of tiny truck stuff much more tolerable!
I appreciate it my dude! Thanks for watching!
You guys should do a built from scratch budget series. Make your own frames and add whatever brands you want where you want them
I wish Josh had the talent for that! ;)
I would like to add my vote towards an Element RC Enduro build next! Also, great series again Matt! Tons of fun and RC edutainment!
Thanks very much!
Element RC Builders Kit next for sure!!! That would be great to see what you come up with.
Chalk one up for the Enduro!
Next build should be a TRX4 Defender. 16 weeks of misery and frustration would be hilarious 😂
Hahaha comment of the day!
🤣
Yes!! 🤣😂
Should have would have could have.Looks like it turned out great and handled the terrain nicely.Awsome build off.Hope you guys do another one soon.
Thanks so much!
Thanks for the kind words, and the suggestions!
Awesome job! I have had fun watching both of you build the TRX4 and it helped me build my Class 1 ReconG6 "The Fix" build I was doing! Still a lot of love going to the portal deletes which is what started my current build back in March!
Nice! Glad I could help inspire!
Great job the TRX4 looks awesome
Thanks!
Love the final result. The truck seems to sit much nicer without the portals. Next build, how about an apocalypse truck on the platform of your choice.
Interesting idea!

Thanks for the feedback!
I loved this series. As for the next build, either of these three: element, 1.9 wraith, or the 6x6 unimog.
Cheers! Thank you!
2 ideas: Budget Build on the most budget friendly truck the Redcat Gen8 or set a hard low cost dollar amount that you have to buy and build up a used truck from craigslist, offer up etc. ....Love the channel, new to the hobby
There might be something like this coming!
Honestly BUDGET build!
Redcat gen 8 pack. It starts with budget.
This would also give the redcat hate crew some insight on this truck capabilities!
I’d be more than happy to join that build and follow along!
Thanks for the suggestion!
Great series! "Nice Truck" and the Enduro Next!!
I think the portal delete helped the performance, the wheel tuck looks really nice too. I didn't like the trx4 but after watching yours and josh's builds id like to have one.
Yeah, I'm really pleased. Sure, you lose some ground clearance, but I didn't really notice a huge difference.
Great job. I would hope for the element rc enduro next. Probably 10-12 weeks so it doesn't get so long for you and Josh. We could probably watch a 20 week build but that would suck for you guys. Thanks again.
10 week sounds good to me!
Great TRX4 Sprort kit build work
I love orange color ;-D
Thanks!
Nice build!! Love that you removed the portals. Maybe do a leaf sprung truck for the next budget build off. I know how much josh loves leaf sprung trucks 😀👍!
I might be able to convince him!
Very inspiring Matt! I have started to build along. Budget is a little weak if im honest but im getting it piece by piece. You should do a dream truck build off. Build it your way with parts you want from wherever you want.
Man, that would be expensive!
Great job, it was fun watching you build the truck
Thanks!
Thank you and Josh for another awesome series. Sad to see it come to an end, but I eagerly await whatever the next series will be.
THANK YOU!
This is the best build you've ever done!
Great build-off. Element Enduro next Budget build!!
Cool!
I still believe the next build should be an RC4WD TF2 leaf spung build
Not outside the realm of possibility!
I would like to see a build just using parts ordered on the web. No kit just building something that you both think is cool. I did and it was fun and exactly the parts I wanted. Always look forward to these build-offs no matter what it is.
It turned out really nice Matt. Well done.
Thanks HArry!
Great build man! I have greatly appreciated following along with this particular series. I think that considering it is already an expensive, and VERY popular platform, a budget build off of a RC4WD TrailFinder 2 is in order and would be SUPER helpful to me personally.
We’re definitely taking all trucks into consideration!

Great idea! A C2 specific build video would be fun!
Yep, I did the Starman as my intro. Looks great as always, sweet build.👏👏👍

Also a good choice!
Great build series! I really enjoyed following along. Looking forward to the next series.
Thanks Brian!
Very nice build off! Would love to see a Enduro Sendero build off next.
Copy that!
Loved the video series. What about doing the next on the Trailwalker that you got prereleased to you. You could be one of the first to really customize a new vehicle and come up with ideas for aftermarket parts and accessories.
Sadly, the Trailwalker is a giveaway.
Great build off I enjoy this 16 episode...please go on!!!
Nope! It’s over!
Definitely the element enduro for the next build off 👍
Sounds like people want to see the Enduro!
Totally inspired me to go the Builders Kit route. Beautiful truck!
Thanks for watching!
That looks pretty damn sweet!
Cheers!
Awesome build man! Would be cool to see the SSD Trail King in a budget build-off series🤙
Also a possibility!
Great series, well done and it's been a lot of fun to follow the builds! It would be good to do the next budget build with one of the newcomers to the market such as the Element Sendero or SSD Trail King.
Thanks Kevin!
You are totally right I think it looks Dang Awesome!!!!!
I'm going to try it myself
AWESOME BUILD MI BIG BRO!!!!!!!
HARLEY RESIGNS ALL THE WAY HA LOL!!!
SBG 4 LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!
😀👍🤙🇺🇸💜
Thanks my man!
Definitely the new UMG10 6x6 !
Wow, interesting choice!
Next Budget Build should be the new 1.9 crawler that Axial showed us at Axialfest. Would give you guys a little rest...LOL
I’d like that!
Agreed.
I like your video of the crawler.TRX-4 Sport Kit Build- off was great !! I would like to see the two of you do Element Enduro Crawler
Cheers!
Great job man, especially deleting of portals. You are the first who did it, what I seen it.👍 Next go for Element RC Enduro, not Sendero, but chassis kit. btw, I love kits 😉
I could do that, thanks for the suggestion!

Good choice!
Always fun to watch
Another awesome video. Im building my daughters trx4 sport up for currently. It's a great platform and with a few mods makes a hella capable truck.
Sure does, thanks for watching!
I want to see a build off with an element rc enduro
Very popular choice!
Me, too. The Enduro is a great playground.
ECX Barrage = budget starter platform
Thanks for the suggestion!
I have tried. There just isn’t a lot of aftermarket parts. The Barrage has its limits. It is a great starter crawler tho.
Good Job Josh~! I enjoyed it very much.
Awesome build, and great series. I would like to see you and Josh do the Element budget build. It is such a popular rig with so much hype around it, i am curious to see how far you guys can go with one. 👍👍👍👍👍
A great suggestion, thank you!
Great series Matt, even if I had to endure Josh’s videos, lol. All kidding aside you guys gave me a lot of great ideas for my sons big birthday surprise!
It will be asome to see a 16 week SBG of the Element Enduro Sendero.
Cool!
Excellent build brother.. Enjoyed the who;e series...
Thanks very much sir!
Gale Scuilder's Build rocks! Although I do detect some torque twist since the pumpkins were lowered.
As for the next build-off, I suggest the Primal RC 1/5 Raminator. Looks pretty low cost & easy.
Maybe? I didn’t feel like it had all that much, probably accentuated by the slow motion.
Totally time for an Enduro build next.
I could definitely consider that!
Element rc kit should be your next budget build!!
A very popular choice.
Love these budget build I look forward to it 👍👍🤘🏼
Cheers!
Do a budget build of the traction hobby cragsman!!! I know these are a lot of work but they're by far my favorite videos either you or Josh have put out
Not the Cragsman!!! Hahahaha
Loved this build by the way keep up the great work man!!
Thanks!
It would be cool to see you guys do a redcat gen 8!
i second this
Thanks for the suggestion!
First! Can't wait for the next budget build-off.
Thanks!
not into them myself but a build off of the axial umg 6x6 would be cool to watch and see what you guys would do with it.
For sure!
Great looking truck! I’m enjoying this series
Thanks for watching!
Element rc builders kit👍👍👍
Great series!! The elementrc enduro next!!!
A popular choice!
Thanks for another great series. I think you should do a Gmade buffalo as the next budget build.
Love these vids man! Learning a ton about this RC world from you. About to build my first truck!
I’m still loving the portal delete.
Cheers Sean, I'm pretty pleased with it too.
A budget budget build off! on a cheaper platform such as the FTX OUTBACK 2 or ECX BARRAGE. would be interesting to see how much performance you could get out of those cheaper rc crawlers. Always enjoy this series whatever you choose to do😉😉👍
Thanks for the suggestion!
Redcat Everest gen 8 that would be cool budget build. Thanks this helped
Cheers!
I think that a Gen 8 would be a challenging build, mainly due to the fact that there is not a huge aftermarket for it yet. It would require quite a bit of "out of the box" thinking.
It certainly would!
Awesome. Maybe a Gen8 or Enduro Sandero next? Not sure what is available for aftermarket parts yet on these vehicles, it may present an added challenge.
Enduro would definitely present some challenges!
That was a great series. I would love to see them run together before they get changed too much more.
That'd be nice.
Good suggestion!
@@scalebuildersguild I was just being facetious lol
Beautiful truck, good sir. It’s nice to see the light kit operational. As far as another build off goes, what about a scale build off using the SSD builder’s kit, or something along those lines?
I’d definitely consider that!
Great series !!
Budget build of Yokomo YD-2S :)
Take a real challenge on next build off and do it to a cross demon! Nice work on the series.
Ha! Thanks for the tip!
Awesome build trucks looks Great the Element Enduro or 1.9 wraith would be cool for the next build thanks for the video
Enduro would be fun!
Like to see a Redcat gen8 for the next build. Love the portal delete and truck body.
Portals...Non-Portals... Love the build and opened my eyes to some other possibilities.
Personally, I would like to see a Redcat Gen8 build off.....
🤘
Thanks for the suggestion!
The Hummer in the back looks good! The Portals you pulled will look good under it.
Already has portals.
an ecx barrage would be a good challenge for a budget build.
swb, parts availability is a little bit of an issue... but they're very budget friendly and have a ton of opportunity for effective upgrades
Copy that, thanks!
Awesome build series as always. Truck turned out great. I would like to see the Redcat Gen 8 and then compare it to the TRx sport build.
Thanks for the suggestion!
Hahaha...
I could always use more time and money! Ha! Thanks for watching!
La couleur est génial, merci
Merci!
I vote for the Enduro kit
So many votes for Enduro!
