If you ha e one those obd devices you can reset it. Or next time you get an oil change if the shop owner has the diagnostic machine they can reset for you.

Is it supposed to just pop off or are there any screws to remove first?

It just pops off. Take it all the way off and it will line up and go back on easier.

Almost impossible to watch as the camera is moving so much! Be warned you may get nauseous!
