The HMHS Britannic was the third and largest Olympic-class ocean liner, sister ship to the Titanic and Olympic. It was launched in 1914 and initially intended for transatlantic crossings but was requisitioned as a hospital ship during World War I. In 1916, while in the Aegean Sea, it struck a mine and sank, resulting in 30 casualties. The Britannic's enhanced safety features, learned from the Titanic's disaster, likely contributed to a significantly lower loss of life. Despite its short-lived service, the Britannic played a pivotal role as a hospital ship and its wreck remains an intriguing subject for divers and historians.
Die HMHS Britannic war der dritte und größte Ozeandampfer der Olympic-Klasse, das Schwesterschiff der Titanic und der Olympic. Sie wurde 1914 in Dienst gestellt und war ursprünglich für transatlantische Überfahrten vorgesehen, wurde jedoch während des Ersten Weltkriegs als Lazarettschiff requiriert. 1916 kollidierte sie im Ägäischen Meer mit einer Mine und sank, wobei 30 Menschen ums Leben kamen. The work you guys put on EVERY SINGLE PROJECT, is just … mesmerazing… I love the upgrades specially! I noticed on the Britannic’s version, before this one, that First and Second Class E Deck was filled with cabins , when in fact, it was a series of hospital wards. And you rightfully changed it for what it’s accountable 😁. Really guys, keep up your work, tou should be more recognized not only in the minecraft community, BUT IN THE OCEAN LINER COMMUNITY, tou guys bring every ship to life from time to time, and that’s priceless to keep these big guys from the past alive… for years i’ve been thankful for your service!!!
