- CHRIS’S CHOCOLATE SWISS ROLL
This was converted from grams so these are approximate American Cup Measurements
Recipe
3 large eggs
90g/ 1/2 cup of caster sugar
1 tsp Vanilla extract
65g/ 1/2 cup of plain flour
2 1/2 tbsp of Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
1/2 tsp Baking powder
Pinch of salt
Cream Filling
150ml/ 1/2 cup + 2tbsp of whipping cream
75g/ 1/3 block Philadelphia Cream Cheese
1/2 tsp of vanilla extract
2 tbsps of icing sugar
The sponge was baked at 180C/356F Conventional Oven for 12 minutes in a rectangular tin measuring 20cm x 30cm or 8”x 12”
Turn out on to a sheet of baking paper sprinkled with caster sugar and cover with a freezer bag to keep it moist as it cools.
Apply the filling and roll. Leave it in the fridge for about an hour or so to set. Enjoy!
