Yes, I want all of the character's especially antarcticite!
Well antarcticite is liquid at room temperature and is only solid at very cold temperatures.
Lynn Hayashi it’s basically ice
Not normal Nugget it’s properties are not similar to ice so no
Red byerl is fuckin expensive. Like way more than diamonds
You can crystallize it at your home
Can we have ghost quartz, padparadscha and Antarcticite plz
YES, please do the other gems!
Yes please
YES
Antarcticite is just Ice tho🧐
@@malakai_adam nah it’s a type of mineral it’s just special because this can only exists under extreme cold
All the gems!! They are all so unique, even the ones taken to the moon like Peridot and Blue Zoisite (Tanzanite)
Didn't you mean Green Diamond? Cause Peridot is doing fine on earth.
True peridot is one earth 🤡👌
definitely do antarcticite next bc it's such an interesting mineral, and I know they're not major characters but euclase, neptunite and benitoite would be interesting too.
I guess you could do all characters bc there aren't that many but if you do bring up details brought up in the manga that have not been seen in the anime yet, maybe put a little warning since quite a few have only seen the anime
I am so excited that you did this video. I've been waiting for this for so long!!!! :DDDD
Edit: I'm surprised you guys even learned stuff from the manga! That makes me even more happy. Some fun ones I think would be Antarcticite and Cairngorm/Ghost Quartz.
this was great 😄 and it would be lovely if you did an episode of these four , Padparadscha(?) , Goshenite , Rutile and Peridot
I would love to see another LOTL video! Antarcticite, rutile, padparadcha, and amethyst
This is so cool that jtv understands this! I’ve recently purchased my morganite jewelry from them after watching and becoming obsessed with land of the lusterous. I’d LOVE a segment on morganite and heliodor!!!
I've never heard of this title before and, after watching this most recent episode, I'm going to add it to my reading and viewing list.
there are so many unique and lesser-known gems in Land of the Lustrous that I'd love as many videos on it as possible! the show's definitely gotten me to want to learn more about ones like antarcticite or euclase
Yes! I would love to know more about ghost, antarctrite, melon (I forgot their acctual name) and padperasha and her illness. As well as the ice floes and how similar the are to gems!
Bravo! I'd never even heard of "LotL" before! Love the video, love the channel!
you should watch it, it's a great anime. (also the first one to look amazing in CG)
Read the manga. It's so wholesome

She mentions a tiny spoiler at 2:00, so be careful for those who have only watched the anime!
It's a pretty big spoiler, actually lol
I'm really curious about antarc. But thank you for this video and I look forward to more.
Omg, that background! Ilove this anime so much and im hoping or season 2 next year
Yes!! I’d love to see more! Especially on Lapis lazuli and Antarcticite (and maybe the amethyst twins as well)
Lapis might be manga only now but S2 is confirmed so we might get them soon
i am so glad you guys did this!!!
can we get some info on benitoite? Thanks for another great video guys~~
Steven is shakeing
Shaking*
Actually he's... Screaming...
We dont care
Steven Universe fans litteraly harassed us fans in IG saying we are worthless peice of shit if we watch Houseki no kuni
DB S The manga aired before Steven Universe (2012 > 2013)
Yas! More, please!
Antarc, Eculase and padparadscha!
Great video
This was so fun, and now I have a new anime to watch
Never saw the anime.
Not a minerals fan.
This video was awesome, too awesome.
I never thought about Phos being like the black knight but now that you've put the image into my mind I can't stop thinking about it... lmfao
I love houseki no kuni! So glad you did this, not disappointed at all!
Talk about Euclase! I'd never heard of it before seeing the anime! I love both the anime and the manga, soooo good!
Yes pls make more allllll
Cairngorm, Lapis and Antarticite
Yes more pls
Do ALL OF THEM
OMG lol my sister will L O V E this video! Thank you!
More plz
Yes another one
Do more land of the lustrous! Please do one on Jade!
Neptunite please!!! Also I love that you guys are doing this on LOTL
Yeah!!!
Yes!!!
It is more proper to say Land of the Lustrous is a country of *minerals* than a country of gemstones.
More than 1/3 of characters in Land of the Lustrous cannot be considered as a formal gemstone. A gemstone has to be a hard, flexible mineral and great in color. *Phosphophyllite* is too soft, *Antarcticite* melts in room temperature, *Cinnabar* is toxic. *Bort* is mainly used in industry. *Goshenite's* color is too plain. *Hemimorphite, Sphere* and *Neptunite* are all too soft. *Euclase* is extremely brittle, *Obsidian* is not even a mineral, *Rutile* mostly appears in crystals that cannot be used in jewelry.
Do more!
So basically houseki no kuni or land of the lustrous is about individual creatures that have been split up into three, the flesh, bone, and soul. The bone are gems that are the main focus and their enemies are the soul or lunarians.
All of them, easy
all im gonna say is that the series has an interesting way of using latin and greek nomenclature for names, too ;)
Can you talk about goshenite, euclase, and antarticite next!
DO ANTARCTICITE AND CAIRN/GHOST QUARTZ! They're one of the best characters in HnK and interesting gems.
I want to see a flashback of all the characters taken to the moon such as green diamond antarcite pink topaz and ruby and sapphire
I will say this, the eye pearl replacement is only in the manga currently
in pokemon theres gems of each type that increase pokemon type use can you do a video on those 18 type gems?
I'm curious on their real world counterparts
also great video :)
Adkskfs spoiler from the manga !!! I love it
yea all character plz!
MOREEEEEEEE
When I started the video I was thinking that it'd be cool if she talked about phos cinnabar and bort and that exactly what she does
Add my fave gem Ghost Quartz.
Woah, science and anime! Keep up!
Antarcticite and euclase!!!
Lapis lazuli. You get to see _That_ panel :)
I worked at JTV several years ago. Hopefully she wasn't working around the same black mold in the vents that caused me to get sick and fired. It's absolutely mind boggling to me to see them shift to focus on fandom in any capacity. Maybe they realized it definitely isn't a sustainable business practice to (borderline predatorily) verbally harass old women into spending more money as a requirement for every operator when any phone call comes in.
LAND OF THE LUSTROUS IS AMAZING!
You notice the liquid metal blobs that float around Cinnabar? That stuff is Mercury which make's sense due to Cinnabar being a Mercury Sulfide mineral. Also, what do you think about mentioning any of these stones in the future? Malachite, Bumblebee Jasper, Goshenite, Phosphosiderite, and Dragonstone.
did you people forget that the word "it" exists?
JTV: saying about Phos arms
Me: WHY YOU ADD HERE ANTARCTICITE WHEN SHE BEING KIDNAP?!
PLEASEEEEE!! Do Lapis! And sensei!!
You should do an episode on Inuyasha's Shikon no Tama, "Jewel of the Four Souls"! I've been rewatching it recently and in S03E55 there's a fake piece of the jewel that is quartz.
Yes plese. I want to see rutile and Antarctic Ice
And that is just the external gold thaere is also large amonts of internal gold
"they all deserve a little love" well said queen (´༎ຶ༎ຶ)(´༎ຶ༎ຶ)(´༎ຶ༎ຶ)(´༎ຶ༎ຶ)
Can you please do Padparadscha, Antarcticite, Rutile or Ventricosus next, their names are weird and I have no idea what they're supposed to be IRL
Ventricosis isn't a gem
you should try doing the gem stones of paper Mario and the thousand year door the crystal stars.
I would like to see Obsidian, cuz she's a beautiful black gem
You went into good detail with Phos, providing real life visuals and lots of facts. However, I don’t think you gave Cinnabar and Bort enough facts or visual aids. I understand if you couldn’t get enough facts, but visual aids should always be provided given the purpose of this video series. Still a well made and helpful video though! Thanks!
Yeeess !
Y’all should do a video about Emma Frost from the Marvel Universe! She has diamond mimicry powers so she can completely change her body into diamond. How many carats would that be and how valuable would a diamond that’s her size? How much heavier would she get and could you stand near her without getting blinded by the light being refracted off her entire body? Thanks in advance!
I was wondering when you would cover HnK
Yo HOLY SHITE, pro tip, she just jumps into major spoilers at 2:00, watch out if you haven't read the manga
Wow i just found this channel
Welcome!
Bort is also the most abrasive character on the show...
Not really the characters but I'm more interested in minerals from different countries like Australia, Canada, Germany, etc.
Can you do Antac and Diamon pleaseee
I clicked so fastttttt
Please, include Antarcticite in the next video.
