Set an extra place at the table. I’m on the way! The red beans I simply HAVE to grow next year. Sooo cool. And nothing in the world like fresh homemade bread. Everything looks so delicious! Very well done! Excellent filming and fantastic editing as always. What a pleasure to watch.
What a nice work! No language required to understand and enjoy this video! This is the real nature simple garden language everone should speak! Thanks for the video!!
Cooking is such a lost art today. OMG, when she sliced those softball sized perfect tomatoes my mouth started watering. Then she sliced the bread, my god that bread was a picture of delicious. Ok, I love to cook, so forgive that, but I enjoyed see all her beautiful fresh food cooked. Another commenter said "words can't describe..." I completely agree! The no-talking part placed your attention on the food. Very nice. Please cook more! Make more BREAD TOO!
So glad you enjoyed this! And thank you for the sweet words. I will definitely do more bread videos -- I'm working on a series on sourdough. Stay tuned!
After a stressful day at the office, this was just what the doctor ordered! Kudos to you and your production team for putting together such a high quality video.
10 years ago i started planting food to save money, now its my passion. Over the past 2 years i built an amazing little kitchen garden and recently i got a new plot on a huge allotment site, at Manchester southern. Over the weekend i flattened my garden, got rid of all the wooden frames i built and the 300 pots i had. The reason was for doing it was simple, keep it simple. Dont give the slugs places to hide. Also, i should of listened to Charles Dowding a long time ago. Piece of cardboard, bit of compost and a plug. Freedom and simplicity. i love your garden.
Charles Dowding is awesome! I've learned a lot from his videos, and the no-dig methods I employed this year were such a success. Best of luck with your own little piece of heaven!
@@TrueFoodTV Keep them coming Nicole!!! I make Sourdough every weekend. My latest has been Rye Sourdough. We can't get enough of it. What's better than 2 or 3 ingredient bread??? Thank you for sharing!
This new format of your video is like liziqi's. So relaxing to watch until the end but i miss your lovely and happy way of speaking, it would be great to do both formats. 👍👍👍
So satisfying to watch! I am from the Philippines. 🇵🇭 Long beans are called "sitaw" Eggplant is "talong" Tomato "kamatis" Brean "tinapay" in Tagalog/Filipino Language.
For sure! I only really know about that becuase of Bake with Jack (great channel by the way). He starts to flour the bread at the same stage you did. I thought there was a second rise when I made my second comment. The end product looked delightful.
It's an absolute pleasure watching the video. It inspires me to do tye same. Definitely in the near future. Thank you to the host and the people behind the camera.
Shows why we love our garden, Ain't nothing like that fresh pick at the peek of freshness.Well that why I garden. Remember you said that is your first garden,My goodness you did great. Also you set a lovely table Lady. Thanks for making this video and hope Baker's Creek Seeds pay you enough to keep doing vidios. Loved your chat with the Baker's Creek Seeds rep.,Dang I forgotten that pretty lady named that was so helpful and smart. Thanks
Watching your video was like a stress buster indeed!! One request though.... show us the whole procedure. For eg. Baking the bread...grilling the aubergine!
What a very peaceful video. Exactly what I needed. I thoroughly enjoyed the sounds of the birds and harvesting the veggies and the preparation in the kitchen. The colors and sounds mixed so nicely together.
OLD LEATHER SMITH here, Been watching U 4 a while, I have learned a lot, I grow HOT PEPPERS, dry naturally, grind 6 different kinds mix together and use myself, some friends found out, so now I supply 1 Chief, 1 Pastor, 3 Friends who like it because my pepper has a VERY LITE TASTE, BUT LOTS OF HEAT. THANK YOU 4 UR VIDEOS, GOD'S BLESSINGS ✝️⚾🙃
Gotta throw in that inspirational video once in a while to get us hyped for our gardens! I need to get my seedlings going this weekend! That looked so delicious! Your hubby is a lucky man to have such a beautiful talented woman!
So rewarding to be able to pick your own vegetables in such a beautiful property as this. Can't wait to have my own land so I can do the same! Thanks for sharing this experience

awesome....I love harvesting food....people take this for granted.........but there is nothing better than growing ur own food n then eating it...........love the vid btw
Mr. this is beautiful vidio of the outcome of a beautiful garden, Nicole is a beautiful Lady and moves so beautiful and this video is great showing something about just why many folks do garden. Our garden does take some of our time, little extra effort and some of the efforts are lost due to natural things such as weather, insect, wind, to hot late and early freezing and getting the wrong plants. But the only way to have those best, freshest, ripen veggies is to garden and trying to find just what are our favorite picks. Super vidio Nicole your husband nailed it and you was a super lady and homebody, Certainly your husband is a lucky man if you're such a cook also You two are great at making videos,My favorite pair of Your Tubes Makes. Hope you two gets a huge deal to sell Toyota brand like that other great sales speaker lady that does such a great job but not any better. Beautiful vidio, I've watched this 3 times and certainly will be enjoying it again but not tonight it's late I must leave Thanks for showing
That “Chinese light green long bean” - my wife is from Hong Kong. They love to cut those in to inch long pieces and cook them with scrambled eggs. I’ve tried it and it is pretty good!
This is such a great joy to watch as I'm replanting alot of vegetables in my garden, it give a calming effect 😊. Love your videos all the way from The Bahamas 🇧🇸
Good morning from Texas, Great video you should do more like this one I really enjoyed it. Have a great day and stay safe and healthy. Looking forward to the next video.

Very nice. There is a lot of how to gardening out there, but inspiration for how to use what we grow is limited. I skipped eggplant this year because I didn't know what to do with it. Now I do! I will definitely be growing some next year. Thank you.
This video really help me sooth my nerves and make me relaxed a bit after a long day. Thank you for a beautiful video. I know it's not an easy things to make it like this. I wish you healthiness and all the blessings form universe
Hey Nicole, what a lovely, soothing video! The slow, meditative pace was very engaging. It's great that you're trying new formats like this, and I'm sure we'd all love to see another similar video. And those beans look delicious. Cheers!
Very nice idea. The only problem is, that only a few of us can do this more than a couple of times a year. I have a balcony garden and feel happy, when I can use one or sometimes two of my grown crobs for cooking. Still a very good thing. And the difference in structure and taste compared to the ingredients you buy makes you think. I love how you presented this. That is, how kitchen and garden life should work. I guess the world would be a better place. More graceful. Thanksgiving would have much more of a meaning because we would have the chance of learning who gifted this to us.
What a wonderful harvest! Nothing in my garden reaches maturity cause I’m too excited that I pick it early. I just did it with 2 sugar baby watermelon today. Instant regret. 😞 -first time gardener zone 10a
Those are beautiful tomatoes. I really didn't have a good tomato year. Too many deer. But I did get six grocery bags of peppers. That whole meal looked wonderful.
Words truly can't describe how delightful of an experience it was to watch this video!
