I tried 9 and 10 before a few times and I found that only 11 is the most fit size for me. For some reason 9 and 10 series are too small. Because of a half size Asics is not actually 28.5, but 28.25cm they were tiny for me. In series 11 they fixed it, even though they are also marked as 28.25
@@Ma-ob6qr Hey! I didn't find that to be the case. I think they are preety good for fencing, especially since I got them for like 40€. I would recommend :)
@@Ma-ob6qr Bro, good timing. I am just after ordering a second pair of Gel-Rockets after VERY bad experiences with two different "proper" fencing shoes. To your question: Yes. Yes, they're good. With price and quality they are THE BEST. They hold up really good as well; they're still in perfectly usable condition condition, albeit beat up from the inside and some tearing on the outside so it made me want to get new shoes. That's really good considering the intensity and amount of time I spent in them. I made a mistake by not sticking to Gel-Rocket and wasted 200 Euro on "premium" trash last month. I had to switch to the old Gel-Rocket during the competition few days ago. Next shoe purchase for me will be some more expensive Asics. A word of warning - toe touches in asics can hurt - my nail is black right now lol. Also be careful with lunges. You may need to grab some heel cups.
I played badminton, had lunch, & then drove to the store to try these shoes on. I feel like I need the next model up to get better cushioning. I've been trying entry-level badminton shoes. Probably best to use them as multi-sport court gym shoes.
Hi, hope you are doing great! Thanks for the review, I’ve gotten the gel rocket 11, working pretty decent so far on court, just looking to replace the insoles, which ones would you recommend?
Thanks for the update, how is the cushion partially for persons having knee / ankle pain. I am having weight 95kg with 50 Yrs of age. So which one will be the best.
buy a running shoes. these shoes are designed for moving in every direction therefore it has a grip on floor which is quite heavy compared to running shoes.
Just bought these Gel Rocket 11 in white color for 64$. I am going to try them mostly for table tennis. Anyone know if these shoes are popular among table tennis players? Thanks.
Hello sir your video's are very informative I had told my brother to bring asics shoes as I have to walk a lot, hecwithout thinking bought rocket 11 from uk I live in pakistan Can I wear them for daily walks outdoors like parks walking tracks?
Which Asics option do you think is the most narrow of them all? I have crazy narrow feet. Do any seem more narrow than the rockets? Thanks for all your detailed reviews!
I didn't use these long enough to test the longevity. Usually Gel Rockets are decent in terms of durability but the stitching on the toes starts to come apart after a while, depending on how much you drag your feet
I didn't test those activities so I can't say for sure. Squash has lots of lunging and lateral movement so I'm guessing these would work for you just not 100% certain.
Was waiting for this review, probably the first one on the tube

They released a wide version as well.
I have the 11 wide version, perfect fit for my wide feet.
Thanks for the amazing review! I actually got these for fencing, but this was a huge help in making my decision 😊
Hello, also considering them for fencing, and they look high in the heel zone,is it?

Thank you so so much for the review.
Seen this recommended for fencing. Ordered some and hopefully they'll fit. Really needed new shoes to get into competitions.

I finally decided to give these a try. Other shoes' soles are dark in color. Yes, non-marking, but I prefer gum rubber soles.
They are okay. I went & bought a pair of Blast FF3. Even better!
gel rocket 11 and upcourt 5 is also hugely popular in badminton
Makes sense!
Always great review/comparison. I would love to see a review of the the new Blade FF now that all the gel is gone and it’s just more FF.

Came here to be convinced to buy the Rocket 11; left here convinced to buy the FF3 😂😂😂 thanks for the video.
I just bought this today, I didn’t realize how firm they are. Does this have enough cushioning?!
is it good for rough surfaces or outdoor volleyball?
Thanks for the update, how is the cushion partially for persons having knee / ankle pain. I am having weight 95kg with 50 Yrs of age. So which one will be the best.
Is gel rocket 11 good for badminton, if not could you please suggest some badminton shoes for this price range, thank you!
Like the looks of the up court, can it be use for all day walking shoe?

Sure! They are meant as court shoes but you can definitely walk outside in them!

Thanks for all your detailed reviews!
The most narrow I’ve personally tried on were the Asics Gel Game 9
Squash source how about the longevity

Is this good for table tennis?
i have the same question :), did you get any answers ?
is the size of gel rocket 11 is equal to other brands size, as example 46 of asics equal to 46 of adidas, or i must choose 46.5 ?
I wear my regular size for Asics Gel Rocket 11. Your feet could be different but for me I use the regular size.
@@squashsource great thank you
How durability upper gel rocket 11 Please
I think it’s not super durable (for squash) because of stitching around the toe box
how do they fit width wise. I have a wider toebox
I think a bit narrow
Buy the wide version , for 11 there is option for wide
What size are these?
11.5 US Men’s
awesome dude
Can this used for training like rope jump, boxing , gym? Does is have that stability..Thanks

@@squashsource OK. Thank you
Any update?
Would you recommend this as a good pair for a Tennis court?
I don't play much tennis but this is a good all around court shoe so it probably works fine. Maybe not for clay court though.
Can I wear them outdoor?
Sure. They are designed for indoor courts but there’s no reason you can’t wear them outdoors
@@squashsourcethis comment are very helpful . Just bought it and dont know it was for indoor 😢 . So can i use this for outdoor running also ?
can i play this on padel court ?
Yes
Gel rocket is little bit wider even on its normal variant compared to upcourt 5. I can wear 7uk gel rocket but need 8uk for upcourt 5.
what shoes do you recommend for libero?
I don’t know about this sorry
So gel rocket 10 or gel rocket 11
11 if same price but if you get a good deal on the 10 go for it
