removing cardio, is fine if you remain in a calorie deficit and do your hiit training. cardio has benefits but you dont need it all the time. you are far smarter than people my age. rest when your body says to, change your workouts when you need. macros, are important if you have a goal. leaning out, while building muscle... youll lean out as muscle builds. muscle burns fat at rest as you know. I wish i knew what you do when i was young. great work!
I’m sick right now lol hearing you when you are not feeling well made me think of myself and how I don’t feel well🤣 I felt sick Tuesday night with a sore throat and headache. Then it progressively got worse with a worse headache, really sore throat and runny/stuffy nose and a ton of sneezing. Today I have a hard dry cough(some phlegmy, sorry tmi) but mostly just a hard dry cough. Still sore throat too and stuffy nose. I go back to work Sunday and I hope I feel better because I work outside and I do not want to get worse. Glad you didn’t end up getting sick tho! Always listen to your body. Xoxo

I wish I had been into fitness at your age! I didn’t find fitness until later in life. I probably would have gone into fitness for a career instead of becoming a 911 Dispatcher years ago. Lol I think it’s great to show what you can do if you wake up feeling exhausted, and worn out. It happens to all of us! Love this video! Do you ever find it hard to get the machines you want at the gym? I have tried weight lifting programs but the machines or benches I need that day are often already take. Or they want me to go back and forth between machines and by the time I return someone else has taken it. It can get discouraging.
I totally get how that can be discouraging! luckily when I go to the gym at 5am its pretty empty haha but I recommend trying to go during less busy times (you can ask the front desk when that is)
for every machine movement there is a free weight version. or bands. no bench, use the floor, the wall etc. get creative...and dont let people take your stuff.
In the description, she wrote "Super sets of 8x12 exercises". Does it mean 8 sets of 12 reps? Or was it a typo meaning 8 to 12 reps? 8 sets seems a lot, but maybe I am out of my depth.

both!! I started doing them on RUclips and once I got a hand of the typical exercises I occasionally just make them myself (but I find that I am always pushed more when I stick to RUclips workouts because then I don't rest as much in-between exercises)

this IS NOT hate, I love all your videos but the "even if it's not the best for me, it's the best for me right now" comment was a silly thing to say because it was not the best for you right then. Something awesome about learning to work out is learning to find motivation when there is none. however, credit is due where credit is due, and you did go to the gym which at the end of the day is an accomplishment that many can't do. so good job!
a super set is basically pairing two exercises together and doing them back to back. and then rest, and do it all again. ex: bicep curls straight into rows, and then repeat. hopefully that helped!

You cant effectively stimulate growth that way. 4 exercises, so if i do arms and shoulders...biceps 2 muscles three movements, tris, 3 muscles anywhere from 3 to 6 movements, shoulders front medial and rear 3 muscles 4 movements. But i can only do 4 exercises total? Ok. I bet people do 6 minute abs too right? Peewee football kids across from my house do more than 4 exercises per day. They are 6 years old. You also need to burn calories, to create a deficit. 4 isnt enough. Id like these scientists to come to my gym, ill bring myself, a veteran, and some other vets. Lets see how it goes. Im ready every day.

i do abs occasionally but abs are primarily about body fat (nutrition) and a strong core (which comes from engaging your core during all lifts)
