Everyone has the capacity to be cruel and kind. In this dystopian nightmare of a world I love the fact that they found and created something precious beautiful in falling in love and June's choice to love him is possibly the ONLY choice she gets to make for herself. I hope that in Season 4 they do end up together as June is entirely different to the wife Luke remembers now. Forged by pain and fire and Nick was in there with her and can relate. If a relationship can be forged in Gilead it can survive anything.
She put them Together..June had to produce a pregnancy within a period of time..June was Her Surrogate..Nick was to be her Husband's..even in secret..He volunteered for the job to keep her alive...Her Doctor did too.
Virginia Porter that would be a good storyline. I would like to see Luke’s ex-wife pop up and bump into June somehow. Wouldn’t it be crazy if his ex ended up a commanders wife?
People are hinting that Nick is hiding who he really is...3rd season also hints at this. I hope not. He seems to be June's little bit of happiness..him and Hannah
But the question is what is he hiding? A double agent gone rouge or someone so deep he has to go forward to get out? There so much more to it we will have to find out about in season four.

The "revelation" of Nick's involvement in the war was a revelation for June and not for the audience. We been knew that he was involved in early stages of SoJ and therefore was probably in the war. I don't think Nick is an evil person 🤔. I believe he had no other choice. On season 1 it shows he could not find a job , he was struggling financially and he was helping his family. So I have this believe that he end up doing all this without him realizing how bad 👎all this was gonna turn. Without realizing how bad they were gonna treat women n children 😪.. And you can see he has a big Regret that's why he said "You get with the government is not very easy to get out" ☹ so let's hope for the best on season 4
Season 4 Spoiler Alert: I think Nick was down on his luck before Gilead and got into something he didn't know what it was. I also think he didn't especially care what was happening prior to June. In season 4 when he was talking with Lawrence about the border policy, he said June changed the both of them.
I think what hit him was the first handmaid killing herself. But when he fell in love with June he became more and more dissatisfied with Gilead and wanted a life with June and their daughter. However I think he doesn't feel he deserves that kind of happiness. That however he came to have taken part in the establishment of Gilead, he DID have a part in it and so he feels compelled to stay and destroy it from the inside even when his family is safely in Canada

In the those two seasons I could have sworn that as much as possible Nick & June are in a relationship which gets stronger as Season 2 progresses starting imo when June is staying in the Boston Globe offices waiting for Mayday to help her escape and they spend time together as a couple. In fact the relationship is so strong that Nick tells her he loves her not once but twice not only that but he loves her so much that he tells her he wants to run away with her and their daughter so that the three of them can be together. Then in the aftermath of Eden's death and to help Nick heal June lets him bond with their daughter and finally tells him that she loves him. Yet this first episode it was the complete opposite. When June is leaving and who knows when or even if they'll see each other again all he says to her is "take care" and she replies "you too!" I appreciate that Commander Waterford is there but it was so cold between them especially when the only time they were alone together before Serena burned down the house, Nick was so angry with her for not escaping that he couldn't/wouldn't hold her nor tell her he loved her and the same for June with him and tbh if the rest of Season 3 is like that I'm gonna struggle to watch it! Btw @virginiaporter of course there's nothing going on between Nick and Serena what on earth gave you that idea?! Not only is it in the book but the producers, writers, Elisabeth Moss and Max Minghella all confirm that Nick and June are strongly connected with each other and love each other very much which is why I was so angry with what happened in that first episode of Season 3!
I really can't get behind nick fully. Like I'm happy june has some love in her life sometimes but the man did actively play a part in the creation of gilead and it does seem odd that he all of a sudden has a change of heart only when he starts to like one of them
I wouldn’t necessarily say he played an ‘active’ part in Gilead. Nick was just your ordinary unemployed young dude that the system couldn’t provide with a job or some purpose in life. Then Gilead came out of nowhere and offered him a job, security, and a respectable position/role in society and all of that for free! I’d say the majority of folks in Nick’s shoes would have taken up that offer, especially when faced with potentially staying unemployed, or even worse, homeless. People like Nick are always the ones extremist regimes/movements seek and recruit first because there’s nothing to lose for them. They’ve already hit rock bottom and are desperate. I think Nick realized later on how devastating and destructive Gilead is, but I’m sure his relationship with it is complicated, because it’s given him so much and he never would have met June if it wasn’t for the circumstances that lead them together
My favourite scene in this season has to be at 3.08 when June walks out to serve the commanders and her breath hitches at the sight of Nick. Nick looks at her then Lawrence spots it then pretends not to notice and Nick is still staring. Makes me 🤭🤭☺️☺️
Ha fatto carriera diventando militare e poi comandante Mi sarebbe piaciuto che la sua storia ci fosse stata raccontata meglio e anche come ha conosciuto e sposato la povera rose
I think Nick has been planted from the beggining, even from when he went into the work placement shop and thats why the goverment could not use him to help with Nichole.
I used to have Hulu, so I was able to watch the show so I kinda know what’s going on but can someone explain the last scene in the video with Nick walking down and the soldiers reacting obedient towards him?
June be having 2 amazing guys risking their lives for her WHILE being in Gilead as a handmade and I can't get a boyfriend as a free women in modern world👀
I have mixed feelings with Nick. Since no sex is Gilead is ever truly consensual, his relationship with June gives me a slight creep vibe. I get that they are each other's solace in this hellscape but his reality is nothing compared to hers.
@@veronica-tf8ub I interest to know why do you think no sexy is Gilead is trutly consensual? Especially Nick & June, since June & Nick come back to each other all the time.
I don't understand where people get this idea of no consensual sex being possible in Gilead from. One thing is the institutional and "illegal" rape all the handmaids are subjected to, and the forced marriages, and another very different thing is the extremely dangerous sexual/emotional relationship these two share. There's a reason why Gilead penalizes this kind of bond with death, and very often turns a blind eye to the Commanders "misdemeanors" at Jezebel's and such. Gilead hates freedom exercized by anyone that's not at the top of the power structure, and murders any person that dares to rebel against this notion. Nick and June have a free love and passion relationship, the only one of this kind that she could have while being consistently enslaved and abused by the system. They put their lives at risk every moment they spent together, so it doesn't really make sense to say it's not consensual or free.
Frankly my eyes would burn a whole in his very thin brain... they would probably would all fall, poisoned that day. 😂 then they must really really be scared of women!
it does if in the end he was planted to infiltrate Gilead from the get go. The Swiss may have found out and they know that talking with him blows his cover and starts a host of other problems.
7:33 I hated this part ...how dare she...ungtateful, selfish. He had no obligation to rescue Ana or do anything more. He planned her escape 2 times and the second time she came back because she wanted to I woukd go with Beth in that moment if I was him ahaha

@@virginiaporter9244 Have you not watched the show properly, or read or seen interviews with Max Minghella. Nick Blaine loves two people more than anyone else in the world.

I like your explanation
Luv them together
He’s so hot, I can’t 😍!
Go get me a that book, but I’m not allowed to read the book titles, so fucked up!
Nick y June ❤️❤️
My favourite scene in this season has to be at 3.08 when June walks out to serve the commanders and her breath hitches at the sight of Nick. Nick looks at her then Lawrence spots it then pretends not to notice and Nick is still staring. Makes me 🤭🤭☺️☺️
Foi muito bem feito está série muito detalhada
Eles tem que ficar juntos... Nick sofreu muito por causa dela e ela tbm...sofre por ele séria uma injustiça se não terminar juntos.
I wonder what his reasons could be.. he must have killed so many people for this order. He deserves to be a commander like no other
Nick❤️June 😍
so this is why he could help her ran out the first time. bcs he is "someone" powerful
The signs were there. What driver has that much pull?
The train scenes has to be the most random shortest scene in the show
Interesting that they would place the handmaid between the husband and wife.
Has anyone figured oit Nick's level of authority ? How does he go from driver to commander? I would love to know more about his story
He is a member of The Eye, a secret police organization
Ha fatto carriera diventando militare e poi comandante
Mi sarebbe piaciuto che la sua storia ci fosse stata raccontata meglio e anche come ha conosciuto e sposato la povera rose
Nickkkkk! 😃
He is so sexy gorgeous..but June is likely to go back to her husband Luke in Season 4.
Hell yes.
I think Nick has been planted from the beggining, even from when he went into the work placement shop and thats why the goverment could not use him to help with Nichole.
nick nick nick oh nick
Romantic ohhhhh
O legendas 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👍
I used to have Hulu, so I was able to watch the show so I kinda know what’s going on but can someone explain the last scene in the video with Nick walking down and the soldiers reacting obedient towards him?
Really wow 😮 thank you ☺️
watch the show on soap2day!
Snigdha Akula thank you ☺️
I don't think he was powerful just because he was a commander, I think it's mainly because he was a powerful member of the The Eye (secret police).
Eles tem que ficar juntos!!!!! 😢❤
U can see he loves June he would die for her
Anyone know the song at 08:53 ???? Can't find it
Please end June with Nick.
i think it's time for me to read this book. for many reasons, but also cos i just gotta know if he is a double agent~!
I love June and Nick's relationship. They would do anything for each other it reminds me of Dom and Letty
Que serie para mas sufrimiento....
June be having 2 amazing guys risking their lives for her WHILE being in Gilead as a handmade and I can't get a boyfriend as a free women in modern world👀
I noticed that Nick and June are the only to that kiss
I have mixed feelings with Nick. Since no sex is Gilead is ever truly consensual, his relationship with June gives me a slight creep vibe. I get that they are each other's solace in this hellscape but his reality is nothing compared to hers.
Finally someone saying what I’m thinking
yes exactly what i was thinking. at first i thought that maybe June was just using him to get influence and knowledge but ig she really loves him.
@@veronica-tf8ub I interest to know why do you think no sexy is Gilead is trutly consensual? Especially Nick & June, since June & Nick come back to each other all the time.
Although the first time they slept together was arranged, Nick's never really forced himself on her. She went to him on her own volition.
Wondered why he held wTerford at gunpoint, he must be higher rank than driver or he'd be dead
He’s an Eye.
The Gilead Army in black.
Por favor dublado completo 🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👍
No está en español?
Awful situation all round, but damn if they didnt bring back the touch of a hand as sexy and romantic as hell...
what episode is 7:30 from?
His eyes can say so much whilst his mouth has to be shut
What episode is 8:53?
Frankly my eyes would burn a whole in his very thin brain... they would probably would all fall, poisoned that day. 😂 then they must really really be scared of women!
June annoys me most of the time. Show needs more episodes each season, less slow scenes.
Tem que traduzi
It makes no sense at all that the Swiss refuse talking to him! It doesn’t even serve the story at all.
it does if in the end he was planted to infiltrate Gilead from the get go. The Swiss may have found out and they know that talking with him blows his cover and starts a host of other problems.
@@NRQ-zv5bp This is a good theory, but I fear you're giving too much credit to these writers. I hope I'm wrong, I just don't trust them that much.
i cannot really remember this part- where do i go to rewatch what happens with that, like what episodes?
7:33 I hated this part ...how dare she...ungtateful, selfish. He had no obligation to rescue Ana or do anything more. He planned her escape 2 times and the second time she came back because she wanted to
I woukd go with Beth in that moment if I was him ahaha
En español pkr FAVOR!!!!
He is correct. She is selfish.
I'm afraid I've decided to stop watching the series altogether. I'm so focused on the Nick/June storyline plus how gorgeous Max Minghella is that I'm no longer interested in the rest of the plot!!
he is very beautiful. it would be nice to have more of his beauty to enjoy & adore amongst all the hella awful shit hahaha
@@belllabean Agree 💯
What was that at the begining?? Is he in love with serena😖
No, he was just trying to keep her calm.
I think he has feels for her.but I hope not.
@@virginiaporter9244 Have you not watched the show properly, or read or seen interviews with Max Minghella. Nick Blaine loves two people more than anyone else in the world. One is June Osborne and the other is his baby daughter, Holly Blaine. And if you did watch the show properly, which you obviously don't considering you're obsession with Nick and Serena fancying each other, you will notice that all Nick cares about is keeping these two people alive. But in case you hadn't noticed in the show as you don't seem to be watching it properly, how about either listening to or reading various interviews with Max Minghella who confirms exactly the same thing and as he is the actor who is playing this character called Nick Blaine I think we can safely say he is the best person to give an insight into who Nick loves and who he doesn't love and in fact going back to the launch of the first series his love for June is even used as a promo!!!
What about Fred, he is in Love with her too , no?
Not love. Love doesn’t hurt, damage and rape you.
Obsession. Look at the scene when they touched hand you can see Fred's eyes fixated on their hands and calls him son almost spitefully.
