Jackie had a lot to learn about men and relationships that's part of her character development Kelso taught her to not be with someone superficial, Hyde taught her to think for herself and Fez gave her what she wanted all along a devoted guy literally the season would've been cool with everyone had Eric and Kelso didn't leave it was out of everyone's hands because both actors were busy with movies and they had to fill in gaps and people forget that episode were Fez did relationship counseling for Jackie and Hyde they realized they were hot for each other since they were both single and bored and kept it a secret from the circle then once everyone was cool with it Jackie started to push for commitment making Hyde pull away the relationship served its purpose I don't think she was ever supposed to end up with Kelso or Hyde she wasn't compatible with either
I agree with you. Majority would probably disagree on what you said about Hyde and Jackie not being compatible though. I liked both Hyde/Jackie and Fez/Jackie. But I'm honestly not all in 100% to all Jackie pairings with the boys. Kelso/Jackie was clearly established as pairing who are so wrong for each other from the get go; Hyde/Jackie had fun interactions as hints for their potential relationships but when he was actually dating her he was definitely not all in for Jackie as she was for him (commitment); Fez/Jackie also had cute & funny moments that hinted a possible romance between the two all throughout the seasons. The only reason I'm not 100% for it was because of Fez's character getting a lil extreme as season goes (especially in later seasons). I'd probably like it best if she ends up with someone outside the crew. It's funny though, because the two boys in the group that I would be ok to be with Jackie will not end up together with her for the upcoming That 90s Show reboot. Can you believe she ends back with Kelso again? lol
