I hate the fact that they gaslight eric into always thinking he is wrong when he hasnt done anything. Everyone wants so desperately to make eric believe he is nothing compared to Donna even his own dad toxic sheesh.
That's western sitcoms and advertising for ya. The dude always has to be the idiot and the woman is the voice of reason who tolerates his buffoonery. It's been that way for about thirty years. Why, you ask? Well, you gotta follow the money. In the United States, women now control about 80% of all consumer spending. Advertisers need to appeal to whoever holds the purse strings, and in this case it's women. It was not always this way. If you look at sitcoms from the 50s and 60s, the women were often the buffoons and men were the adults in the room. Look at "I Love Lucy." That was back when men still controlled the money. Today, men still earn most of the household income, but they hand it over to women to spend, either voluntarily or involuntarily (such as in divorce) and they get nothing but disrespect in return. Want to stop it? Stop handing over your wealth to women.
2x21 you know, that's one of the reasons why marriage is a dying institution, because there's no equality. If Donna wanted to spend time with Jackie, and Eric overreacted, she'd never feel like she would need to apologize for wanting to spend time with her friend. Donna takes him for granted too, she's just as likely as anybody to join in on mocking Eric, I'm sorry but that's not the way a girlfriend should behave towards her boyfriend. I mean she doesn't have to be his lapdog or anything but she should always be in his corner, because he's just as prone to getting hurt as she is.
I've watched this show alot and judging by myself somewhat experience in relationships, I come to realize that relationships now aren't what they were back then
I think ur letting bias cloud what you just saw. Donna doesn't want to be taken advantage of. What happens? Eric has sex with her but doesn't show her that he values her time unless she puts out for him. Thats the issue here. Not spending time with friends. Also, maybe if Eric wasnt such a dumbass he wouldn't get made fun of
Way to make women look like controlling nut bags lol letting your partner know you’ll be hanging out with friends beforehand is always considerate but no one should ever have to ask for permission in a relationship. Donnas already showing red flags!
Jackie was right, eric took donna for granted after marriage where she had to care for leia(her kid on that 90s show) whereas eric moved away to some other state or city due to some star wars related stuff. They are still married though. 😅

"Go talk on your own damn porch" 🤣🤣🤣
Funniest part 😂
Laura, Topher, Ashton, and Mila did a fantastic job re-enacting that “All In The Family” scene.
Kelso got down the Meathead's mannerisms really, really well. Eric was alright. Donna was poor.
@@incarnateTheGreat Yea, Kelso was the best.
Go talk on your own damn porch 4:11
It just hit me Dona never had her own car.
It’s always nice to see red bond with Eric’s friends by mocking him!
4:47, Red's not wrong about that because I still meant everything I said about Eric being the worst boyfriend that Donna could ask for
Red is a wise and angry man!!

Ever had a woman? Sometimes you need to over apologize and not bring up everything you have done for her. It's just the way women are.
@@aronzimas5660 if that's the way you think a decent woman is, i bet you just haven't been with the right women

4:20 just like Red and Fez say…
@TonyMitch13 care to elaborate?
What is fez doing hanging out with red
They're finding common ground in Eric's dumbassery.
He has to ask to hang out with his friends; i'm sorry I can't be the only one who thinks there's something wrong with that
I would dump Donna for even having a problem with that
I dont get y people are attracted to her, she sucks
Let me guess, you're single.
You don't ask. You tell here where you are going. Either she accepts it and you go or she doesn't accept it and you go anyways. You are no slave.

It's just a show lol
@@1Luv87 yes we all know that
You are overthinking a sitcom show. Relax
Does anybody know the song playing in the background when Jackie and Hyde are in the basement in this episode? It's a slow jam
Kelsos meathead was spot on
Sometimes Eric seems to be trying to reach Kelso’s levels
Red is right. Eric is a dumbass

Do I have to ask u to hangout with mu friends? How do u dubmit this early even before getting married
That house scene looks like Queens, Ny
Ur so right
They made Donna super unlikable from Seasons 2-4.
She mellows out in Season 5.

Red 🤣
Ashton played Mike pretty well..
I don't get it is Donna his girlfriend or his mother
classic how Woman change the scenario. You know what I mean.
I was there 😂I might be old now but this way real life then 😂
