Never get tired of this video!! But I’m sure of one thing .. I don’t think today’s artists would set aside their differences long enough to pull something like this off .. and that’s a shame!! Love Tina Turner and I think Cindy Lauper “kills it” on the vocals! Thanks for your reaction!!
Cyndi Lauper blows me away with her performance. You’re right, the artists of today are too full of themselves. The singers of today are not as talented and don’t stand a chance to pull this off.
Actually, they did do two newer versions with totally different artists. One the 25th anniversary of the original, a group of different artists recorded a new version for the earthquake in Haiti. And in 2018 a group of Broadway performers (including a few legendary names) came together as Broadway United to sing their version. There were a couple of unique voices in both versions that not everyone appreciated, but both also included some really amazing legends and standout performances. The Haiti version also included new verses performed as a rap with some of rap's biggest names. Nothing will ever replace the original, but IMHO, all versions have something to appreciate.
Your delightful smile said everything! Great reaction Rad! Someone else listed all the singers and when they appear so I won't go into any of that, but you'll be surprised at who you missed! Love from Michigan!

Right? Oh and Tina Turner. She is such a legend, even her life story is truly powerful! It's always better to see people react to this a little farther into reactions from the 80s music cus they are more blown away by all the legends and more excited how many they recognize. I've even seen a few go back and watch it again after a while to see if they can guess them all. 😂😂 I have even seen a couple look into Bruce Springsteen after this cus they had to hear how he sounded in a whole song.
After going through the 2016 Election horror, Covid 19 Disaster , we definitely need this POWERFUL ,uplifting , positive music! I have been listening to it over and over and over again! 🤗🥰🤗🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🎄🎄
I just now found your channel and have been looking through your archives. Likely will be subscribing as well. I would *love* to see your reaction to this song: Wolf Totem by The Hu, the official video. I've been enjoying your insight as you discover new music and would be quite interested to see what you make of them. If you turn on English subtitles, you should be able to get the English translation of the lyrics, as they sing in another language. I won't say what that language is, so that it's more of a complete experience for you without expectations.
When Harry Belafonte was 'just' a member of the chorus, you know you're looking at a cast of all-stars.
I understand Harry was the originator of the idea for this, and got it all started.
This is the America I love! Yes, goose bumps even all these years later!

Yes, in the '80s we made a choice that saved us. Will the present and future generations make a choice as well or will that end the US? We hand it off to them. Good luck because it wasn't always easy but it was a different time. You have blessings that we didn't have. Please make your own music that's full of love and honor. You got off to a bad start but that can change. Make the choice to survive. Don't stay victims.
Rock is forever. You have witnessed the foundation of Rock ✌️
Learn from this. The white legends were important also. All of these people made up an era of amazing music.
David hassleoff. Dead. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. But you are the only one who thought that.
Love the song its awesome. It embodies the American spirit and shows our diversity and inclusion before all the ish and our unity we had.
You can Google "USA For Africa with names"!
this was a really popular song sung in school programs for a while. I'm pretty sure I sang it in 6th grade chorus.
We used to do inspiring things....

Every single person in there is a triple platinum star in their own right. Google each one. Raising money for famine in Africa.... feed them.

most of the had attended the grammys nearby - - and the rest chose to ride - - . There is a making of where you can see the rehearsals and recording. Jane Fonda talks us through the whole night.

There are no other versions. This is the ONLY one. Others are no versions. They are nothing!
The little one up third is Paul Simon followed by Kenny Rogers. Live Aid and Queen did it better and raised more money. And I love all of the guys. Ray Charles was my first crush when I was a kid.
React to Busta Rhymes Janet Jackson. What's it's gonna be Fire 🔥

🤦🏽♂️
Kenny Rogers.
