Tamiya M4 Sherman Isolation build

Whilst in Lockdown, I thought I'd do something that I've not really laid hands on since I was a teenager! I've decided to build a 1/35th scale M4 Sherman. Everyone should build a Sherman at some point in their lives.....right?
Sure I've built military vehicles only just recently in my " Operation Market Garden" diorama, but the're only 1/72nd scale and not as detailed. so, whilst I can I thought I'd go ahead and build one. This MAY or MAY NOT end up on a diorama base with some U.S. Infantry....... we'll see!!!

Nice video, thanks for posting. As someone who is new to modelling, I am struggling to understand why you first paint it white/grey, then black, then olive drab green. Good skills anyway. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for the comment Madcat100. The grey is a primer coat fir the main paint to stick too. The black is whsts called "pre-shading" where you outline the panels and recesses. As you put the main colour on, the black underneath provides shadow and shade and makes the model pop 😎

I'm sorry if the music irritates you no one else has has mentioned it. Unfortunately I can't change it now so may I suggest that if it annoys you that much try turning the volume down or maybe even mute the audio? Many thanks!

i turned the audio off but thats kinda last resort (i miss out on your explanations). Why dont you try voice-over as much as possible without music ?@@Primetimemodelling
