F-16 Viper Demo team from Shaw AFB in South Carolina.. piloted by Major Craig "Rocket" Baker.
The GoPro camera inside the cockpit stopped recording after the Max Climb.

Man.....this is just frickin bad ass. Makes me wish I would have applied myself more at mathematics when I was younger. Was my dream to fly but ended up serving a 20 year career in the Infantry. Always appreciated fast movers dropping steel on target. Hats off to you gentlemen who fly these awesome machines.

The maneuverability of the F-16 is astonishing. Every person on the planet should be able to experience what this pilot is experiencing. What a privilege! I love that he gave the crowd a thumb's up during the knife edge pass!

Major Craig 'Rocket' Baker - I so salute you sir. You are now in the Guinness Book of Records for being the only person to kill a GoPro from performing a Max Climb. Tough camera...tougher USA F-16 Viper pilot. We Kiwis (NZ) know class when we see it and Major Craig 'Rocket' Baker is all of it and some. Excellent vid!
Look how hard his body is working after a while. Just WOW. It's a lot harder to drive those things than you think! Watching him go weightless too... for a split second or two.
I wish I would have followed my dreams and became a pilot. I fell in absolute love when they rolled out the F15 for the first time. My favorite plane of all times and the F16 a gnats-ass close second!

It’s amazing how fighter pilots can keep their orientation when they are going vertical, twisting and turning, flying upside down etc…….imagine doing that under duress in combat situations! God bless our war fighters, thank you all for your service to our Nation. 🇺🇸👍🇺🇸💪🇺🇸

Awesome Feels...Just Wow
My daughter got a chance to ride in one because she worked in the Air National guard and because she is addicted to wild rides.. That's why I am here, to see what it is like in the cockpit.
I watched this fellow in this video start to accelerate his breath intake and I could see how stressful this flight was. In my daughter's case, the pilot who took her out started with a takeoff that is called an unrestricted vertical climb. When I saw that, I was stunned but they went off on an hour long ride over New Hampshire and back. She got to handle the controls a little and performed a roll and when they got back the pilot talked about how proud he was of her because she handled 8.3 g and stayed conscious....barely. She was a little bit in shock and her face was pale when she climbed down out of the plane I think.
That was a great video. The pilot was amazing. Some of those moves he was making looked very uncomfortable on the body and he was doing this like it was nothing. Loved the camaraderie with the crew chiefs at the end.

Great video. Thank you for posting. I could be wrong, but it seemed that there was additional engine noise added into the video(over dub). This video rocked on its on very well. Now, I've got to go see my chiropractor, my skeletal system is all over the place, lol.

Today I found out the joystick in the f16 doesn't move like a regular stick. The pilot applies pressure in the direction he wants to move and the computer interprets it and moves the ailerons accordingly. Really mind blowing engineering if you think about it
