Car manufacturers are trying to work around it so we are in that transitional phase, that's why MB has gone down this same road. This is the result of that. Sad to see manufacturers hogtied by the UN. If regulators weren’t pulling the strings the M5 might weigh 1600-1700 kg and be more efficient because of it.
