I was like wow Espark is the real deal! I always hear you talking about other people's games so it's really cool to see you analyze your own game. There was actually another monster player you defeated in that same tournament.

You should be proud! The main thing I look for when doing background on my opponent is what tribe do they choose. The main thing I look for is the order in which they get their techs and what techs they typically end up with. To be very specific a lot of the times, what I'm looking for is when they get rammers, and what turn they build their first port

I remember you showing me this, it was really cool so I decided to do it myself, and I had one game where I was down on cities, resources, and tech. But I carefully manipulated the game to where I won it with a mindbender push. I was also chatting with my opponent with that game and their reaction was awesome lol Edit: I love that everyone says they do background research on their opponents, I just ask my ronin buddies if they're good or not XD
