Squid are actually invertebrates. They’re cephalopods that belong to the mollusk phylum. The clear cartilage thing inside is called a “cuttle” Great episode, as always. Emily, trying that oyster on camera was a real test. Nobody can ever say you aren’t committed to making content.
I just watched the episode when Emily single-handed the boat and thought there's absolutely nothing she can't master if she puts her mind to it. I never thought her kryptonite would be fresh oysters! ☺ Great episode! Thanks!
Thank you for sharing this little adventure. Can't wait to see you at annapolis! Hope you stay clear of hurricane lee. Looks like it is headed to Nantucket
What a great time. Mandy you look like you had a ball. Emily, I'd tell you oysters are an acquired taste but they're not. Lol. For your next claiming adventure try using your heel, no rake.
That was fun to watch! We had such a great time with you guys! Can't wait to see you again and especially excited for my next trip on The Adventure Crews! Thank you for your amazing hospitality! Still laughing about Emily and the oyster! Love you so much! Mom 🥰
Great episode guys. Emily - I'm with you, I don't like oysters of any kind raw or cooked, except for oyster crackers....hahaha. Cole, My wife is Vietnamese and we eat a lot of seafood (a lot for me anyways), there is only one place I have found that I can eat squid, and that's a small restaurant in Arlington, TX. I can't wait to see what other adventures you have to share. Cheers from Texas.
I was really happy with this squid I used coconut flour and a little slap ya mamma seasoning and it was really good! Hey did you by a chance see we are up for an award in Annapolis? We need your help to vote Brian! Check out our post on IG please. Cheers, Cole
Great video but the best oyster’s in the world come from Gods Country Cedar Key Florida and the west coast of Florida. Emily you have to be tough to eat an oyster. Love y’all
We grabbed a ball the first night just because we didn’t not know the lay of the land but after paying $80 for the night we quickly found were to anchor and it was great!

We are hoping so as well! We are in Newport for the boat show! Follow us on IG for daily updates on the boat show and the storm!
What fun! Would love to hear what the family thought of the guest accommodations on the boat and of sailing.
We actually didn’t go out sailing because of the weather while they were on board but I do think everyone enjoys the accommodations although tight.

Loved this! Nantucket is beautiful we loved it. I'm with Emily I hate oysters 😂
Lol seems like it’s 50/50 based on my social post and the comments we received!
You have to go to Bartlet Farms on the weekend. Usually live music and a Distillery that is really cool
Thanks for the tip!
Emily vs. the Oyster 😆 That was too funny!
The worst thing I’ve ever eaten- I stand by that!! I don’t care how expensive they are! 🤢🤣

Lol of course you would say that!
Did you anchor out or grab a mooring ball? How much per night & how much for the dinghy dock? Nice video👍😊
We grabbed a ball the first night just because we didn’t not know the lay of the land but after paying $80 for the night we quickly found were to anchor and it was great!
have you ever smilled a dead whale. you'll never forget it.
No can’t say we have ever smelled a dead whale
we live on Whidbey Island. they wash ashore often. they once blew one up then the rotten meat stunk for 5 months, they now sink them.
