Motorcycle Tire Shelf

Being an avid dirt bike rider I have gained a number of used tires that I have not seen much use for, until now. But with a baby on the way my wife and I had an idea. These awesome tire shelves made for a great focal point in the babies nursery.

There are many ways to easily make these shelves more sturdy. For 1 you should have stood the 2 support boards up on end. Not flat. And when drilling holes in wall to find stud work from center of shelf out so you don't have exposed holes. Not trying to bash your technique or anything just some tips for people trying to make these shelves

how do you make the cut off of the tire ??? with a saw or a angle grinder ?

I uses a razor blade and some tin snips.

But next time I would use a Sawzall with a long metal blade.
