We hit a big milestone on this video and I decided I'm going all out on this build! Meanwhile you guys can check out Part 2 where I finally ride it. Thank you for Watching!
"invests" not "wastes". it is a trade, that is worth it, if you can do the round trip for less than $20. however, it is true: you can't save all of the $20.
I have the same model you have I changed out the whole front end and the suspension and it's still working today and I guarantee it's all thanks to the upgrades.
Be sure both pipes for each cylinder has the same exact bends and is the same length to get the best performance out of it if you want good all around power
huge engine but not huge power... more like 20hp... u can get a 250 cc honda engine and get 50 hp out of that... or like 900 cc engine that does 150+ hp.. now thats some real power..
@@larsvegas1505 You can score new name brand engines like Briggs ebay for the same price as the Chinese junk you can't get parts for. I scored a 24hp Briggs shipped for 740 recently. Have fun getting parts for that engine.
@@MrTheHillfolk at this point id just consider predator a name brand. They do make replacement and performance parts and theyre even the required engine at lots of kart race tracks
I had one of these buggys for my goddaughter (served with her father in Iraq in 09) we took her in shortly after, had a blown motor and saved for months to be able to afford a used 600cc motor to swap in it, whilst it was in the yard on the trailer, criminals broke the lock and hauled both of them away, she was devastated but I'm not sure who was more upset, her or me. Someday we hope to get another buggy and swap the motor so we can ride together.
Wow that really sucks I'm sorry man. People who steal others motor vehicles deserve to be tortured. Every time I see videos of people stealing motorcycles it pisses me off
Awesome! This build is going to be sweet! I'm so glad you decided to do it! I don't think you will, but don't paint it. The blue looks great as is. I'm looking forward to part two!
This thing is gonna RIP! The engine you pulled out is actually a GY6 150cc, my personal favorite engine tbh. Yeah, as a person who's been running Chinese scooters for almost four years, the frames and the engines are good....its just the stuff ATTACHED to the frames and engines that are horrible lol. I'm honestly surprised the 670 fit!
Great job my friend. I already subscribed. . I bought a Chinese dune buggy, super cute, but it began falling apart right away. . In a span of 6 months I had to call the tow truck 5 or 6 times. The electrical components were of the lowest quality. I had to change many parts. I had already spent about 10% of what I paid for it brand new. The warranty was very limited. . BUT, I love it. Where I live is street legal, and finding a parking space is a breeze.
Before you cut that sprocket off the axle,or cut the axle, please look at 2-piece bolt on sprockets.A few holes drilled, and multiple gear choices may be better? That cart is So clean !Great find, and start.
I just sold a BAJA Dune 150 which is almost identical and also made by Tomberlin. I love the GY6 150's. Very reliable and very tuneable. Performance CDI's and Coil and Plug pkgs are $10 on ebay. Yeah. Just know the 80cc is the marketing term, 66cc is actual displacement. You want to make sure it has Japanese bearings, and preferably a long rod. eBay description should mention this.
