In today's video I test the carbureted turbo setup on my predator 670cc vtwin and it actually works. I install a winch, light bars, single seat conversion, and stiffen the roll cage and chassis.

Welp, the outcome surprised me! Longer special today to make up for the wait. Thank you for your support and thank you to Harry's for sponsoring this video.
I love watching your videos have you been to New Zealand
You should go to mini Mayhem
Is it just me or is the front left wheel bent
Vasily Builds bro how can u drive somthing that almost killed you I’d be selling it and restarting a new and improved build
Great video! Hope you can get a bigger turbo!
So how much money should we spend on a gokart?
Vasily: yes.
those are rookie numbers, you gotta pump em up 😂
Well i bought mine (race kart) with a brand new 390 for $650CAD so basically free chassis... so far im about 2.5k in getting back up to running condition :/
I got a hammerhead 208cc buggy for 150 dollars
Dude I am loving this build!! I also appreciate that it's not out of other people's reach and buildable with some mechanical know how! I give you mad props man!
When he removed the wastegate line i was dying so hard that gauge was like going to like 20psi man this build is so awesome
Jurrien de witt gotta see some dyno numbers!
@@timothyhowland3501 not really the man said it himself its faster and you can tell just by the video its about 20 pounds of boost faster lol. Ive even got a turbo mower build pretty much the same making about 10psi and i can tell its blisteringly faster, so i can back him up on the fact that this simple turbo upgrade works!
I really believe this Youngman has no idea just how amazing he really is! Thank You for all you share with us. Much respect. Peace.
I would suggest getting an air to fuel mixture ratio gauge on there so you know how rich or lean that it is running
definetly
@@VasilyBuilds and an intake temperature gauge. If you know the air consumption and can measure fuel consumption you can roughly calculate HP.
they also have the boost controlled adjustable fuel pressure regulator
Widebands are significantly cheaper nowadays.
@@mesanders1113 seems like they are more expensive. An aem gauge runs for 166$ back then they ran for 120-130$ on eBay
"I really have no clue where the nut came from" LOL Me looking at the video...."It came from the compressor wheel, dude"
Finally another upload been checking for one 😀
So no one is gonna talk about the 19 or 20 psi of boost lmao holy balls
s10 mafia RIGHT
yep pretty foolish to disconnect the wastegate without monitoring for knock, or air fuel ratio etc...he's lucky the rods haven't gone through the block yet.
@@Mellonpopr Thats not what happens if you make too much boost. Hes more likely to detonate and also wreck his rings/ring lans from too much pressure. Throwing a rod is a by product of too much power/ weak rods. Sure boost can do that but thats generally not the first thing to happen
Thoroughly impressed, much respect...I’d be so proud if my kids if they had any of those skills. I can barely get them off “fortnite”, if that’s even the game anymore. Stronger spring on the wastegate...
GIVE THIS MAN 10,000 LIKES LIKE HE ASKED ↑
Maxx Productions forget 10k give him 10million
It's incredible what you've done with this thing! I'm so excited to see it finished!
Totally digging the longer vids. I know it means more work for you, but I thought this one was done very well
Appreciate that!
Dude your videos are never too long. I liked the way this build is going, your doing a good job of strengthening the roll cage as well as the rest of the kart when you did that. Good improvement and you need all of the rigidness in that sweet little baby just in case you might have a wee little CRASH, just saying you never know when a big old tree or rock jumps out into your path. Stay safe and don't forget to have FUN out there!!
Man this thing gets better and better...keep the upgrades coming!!!
It’s lookin awesome man, really lookin forward to the upcoming episodes! :)
Man it really sounded good with that 20psi boost! Nice work 👍 even if the turbo had some problems you still got it working and you should be proud of that man!
I'm amazed with how this thing came out! Have to say it doesn't feel right without a turbo! Keep turbo please! You've done good! 👍
Dude, big fan been watching for a while, from the crash to what it is now is amazing. Keep it up like always!
Your great homie keep up the good work, you’ve gone and got yourself a badass build started wonderful work man!!!!
Awesome video !
Your skills never cease to amaze me
You`re quite the craftsman, for such a young age.
Thank You for sharing your video, and making me feel young again.
ATB !
Single seat conversion looks awesome cant wait for paint and storage spots

GIVE THIS MAN 10K LIKES!!!! Loving the idea of a setup like this.
Looks like you are all healed up, I had started watching your channel around the time you had your accident and ended up in the hospital. 🤙🤙 Look forward to seeing how you button up this buggy.
Harry's is the bomb. Been using their stuff for 2 years
Build is looking good and I'm glad you healed up nicely man!
I already use Harry's and love it.
That's really awesome Vasily. This build has been great.Someone else also saw the left front wheel has something wrong too.Way too much movement. Have you considered Supercharging instead?Whatever you do,we'll be here to watch.
It's looking amazing man! 👌👌👌
You may need a turbo oil restrictor. it keeps the pump from flowing too much oil into the turbo housing. They are cheap and they work well.
The most important question is
Do you have a kill switch this time ?
Just rip out the spark plugs
I never would have thought those would be able of handling 20psi. 👍
Kyle ( Boosted Boiz ) saw a max of 5 Psi on his 200cc engine with EFI to boot ..
@UC_Y11zeonaaoqX7BP7k5sMA should be a rocket till she pops
@@88s10Durango kyle had the wastegate tead to the motor as well as a gauge
Tied*
I was so excited at the beginning, and sad at the end... 20 psi on that engine? Daaayum, can't wait to see it. Running propperly, good vibes from México
Most people would hide a simple mistake like this happening.but you went ahead and did a humble thing. Keep up the build bud. Can't wait to see how this works in the future.
Paint it neon orange!!! Love the build.
I know this is 2 years old but i also see it has 10k likes so lets see a another turbo put on it lol. Love this buggy you fixed up
This thing is an absolute beast
Love those dual coilovers up front they look *sick*
Keep it up young gear head proud of ya man.
4:12 that vision and the eagle, wuajajja
that thing is gonna be a beast when its done, nice work kid
You hear him guys!! Every like counts! Great vid man
Awesome progress! Making BOOOST!!
I think that nut was from the impeller blades of the turbo. Ill ship you a subaru 13t just to see you use it on that thing.
Vasily Builds Try this
Yeah it's definitely the nut from the shaft
Logan Just yes!!
John Connolly he should lock tight it next time cheap Chinese turbos aren’t exactly assembled the best 😂
man dont wait for the 10k likes. just bloody do it!
you gotta earn those likes.
Hell Yeah. Lil bro gettin that advert $$ .. Good shit keep doin your thing man..
Proud of you from a fellow Chattanoogan!!!!
hell yeah! Also I'm excited to see Miata vids in the future
Keep it up man I really wanna see this done👌
I bet your neighbors love you! Mine complained about me and my son riding our mini bikes with straight pipes
I bought one of these turbos they're not bad for hobby builds but when you buy them I advise checking the amount of play on the compressor shaft before you put them on. mine had quite a bit (enough to catch the side of the housing so I had had to make some adjustments ), also these turbos have oil restrictors in them as you may or may not know to help cool the it because otherwise the oil flows too quickly and once your turbo gets too hot you start to burn your oil so your pumps flow rate might be too high maybe add a regulator ( I just put a 'T' into the feed line with a valve to the return so I could change its flow through the turbo to my liking. You've done a good job there though keep it up 👍Hope this helps :)
This is one cool build, hope you get all the likes so we can see this thing with a larger turbo
Looks great. Maybe a mean green, like Kawasaki green. Bigger back tires. Definitely a giant turbo. I hope you make it to 10,000 likes. Keep up the good work and be safe and have fun.
You must have very patient neighbors... haha. Good stuff, great build!
If it all went together without any problems then it wouldnt b as much fun... building it is the best part.! Realy like this build. Keep it up!
Awesome work !!!
Cont wait for the next video
In case it hasn't been mentioned, turbos typically have a restrictor in the feed side to stop the oil from blowing past the seals
Man that sucks that turbo went so quick great work buddy that left wheel look like it was doing it’s own kind of dance there buddy
Nice one bro keep it up.
It was a beast before the turbo and it'll be a beast without it . Just more to worry about when you just wanna ride. Sounds better too. Nice work 👏
Rastafari
The winch looks great
Harrys best razorz ever
20 pounds of freedom!!!,
Hell yeah brother
Wow 20 psi, Impressive! The plugs looked like you had the air/fuel pretty close. I've never had much luck turboing small engines. They never seem to have enough exhaust pressure (not the case with the 670cc) and dealing with all the heat(oil cooling, elaborate exhaust system, higher intake temps from conduction)isn't really practical on an off road vehicle. I've had more success supercharging them. It gives you boost on more of the power curve like when you get stuck in the mud and climb hills. Not just at the top end like a car. Just a suggestion.. I'm sure it will be bad ass however you build it! RED & Matte black 😁
You'll probably always get oil going into the intake running it draw thru like that the old turbos that were draw thru had carbon seals on them to get rid of that problem. Awesome build man!
No smoke coming from exhaust means no oil pushing through seals. I have same setup and have ran the hell out if it. Still as good as day 1. And still no smoke pouring from exhaust.
Thank you for the videos
Now, I don't have a clue how to weld, nor do I seriously NEED a welder...
But *GOD* I love that HTP welders shirt.
edit: good lord I never thought I'd see the day a 670 hit 20 lbs of boost...
Speedskid same!
Cant believe thats the same buggy you crashed into a side of a house last year lol really cool watching it and you grow keeps getting better. Cant wait to see end product
Nice buggy i hope that you get 10000
Likes
Your neighbors must love you 😂😂
I get the stiffening up and strengthening the rope cage but I don't get making it non-removable it's always good to have it removable so if you ever damage it in a wreck or crash you can always remove it and repair it. Without having to use a cut-off wheel in a welder
I seen that Cleetus McFarland bald eagle sound effect 😂
A comment on structural strength when working with tube - it's best to triangulate everything. Wielding a strut to the middle of a tube isn't nearly as strong as fixing it to another joint. So the joints at the top of the rollcage were good, but the ones at the bottom, not so great. The struts below that were welded to the middle of the tube won't be very stiff at all. Extending it rearward to the join below will be make it much stronger
Beautiful job
Come on people, get the 10K likes going , I really want to see Vasily redo the turbo set up with a bigger, higher quality turbo and we'll see what this buggy can really do.
Here for the 10k likes. LESS GO YALL
I did like nr 10.000, on with the turbo again 😎, very cool build.
Gotta love that T shirt
Looks like the nut that goes on turbo fan... do you have a kill switch that you can get to?
your at 10k likes brother time to turbo the buggy again haha but hell grab one of them cfmoto vforce 950 and do some major power upgrades would love to see it sure others might too but who knows right lol
Don't worry about the leghth this is quality content👏
Sick buggy👍
that front left wheel is wobbling somethin fierce
