- In today's video I get the dash & gauge mount made and installed, fill it up with gas, and take the Supercharged Independent Suspension 670cc V Twin Buggy / Mini Rock Bouncer / Mega Go Kart for its first drive. We aren't getting the power to the ground here so we're switching the driven pulley to a CV Tech 6000 series. We are making about 10lbs of boost in this video. Make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss the Boosted 70hp 670cc V Twin Engine Build video coming out next. We do have plans to take this engine to Performance 670 to dyno.

Don’t read the comments.....Making something out of nothing is more satisfying.
Your builds are more realistic and is why I follow your channel. Keep smiling and enjoying life....the negative couch builders and DIY wannabes will always be there.
Well said lol im backyard builder and to each thier own , but he doesnt need to do what his negitive nellies say , i like that he did it with a 670 because not everyone has access to nbike motors . I picked up a dazon 250 china buggy cheep and modded it to fit a gs 750 but kept the reverse gear box so i still got reverse and 5 speeds , getting close to a test ride now
@@4486xxdawson nice ima go sub to you an see if u have a vid on ur buggy
I’m building a buggy at the moment and everyone is an expert especially if they have never built anything lol!
@@4486xxdawson those are great buggies, I definitely wanna see what you do with it 🤘
Yeah i've had some insane stuff roll out of my shop occasionally lol
That thing sounds super tight no rattles or clanging that i can hear, EXCELLENT JOB! Once it's all dialed in it will be a ripper!
I want one!! Keep the motor on it!! I would build this in a heartbeat! Red, great job!! AWESOME content.
it looks like I'm back to the drawing board. lol
WOW!!!!! This is incredible!!!! Just from the little drive when you were saying the belt was slipping and not at its full potential it looked CRAZY fun!!!! Keep it up!!
I would consider using a carburetor that has an accelerator pump to compensate for the manifold vacuum drop at full initial acceleration... love the build, sir
Or an engine more suitable for that application.
How would the carburetor see a vacuum drop-when air is mechanically being drawn thru it by a supercharger??
Splungers when you stab the throttle really quick the butterfly/valve opens faster than air can be drawn through it
@@knowbull5hit590 yup
@@knowbull5hit590 Do you have a link to video of any supercharged engines you have built??
The fact you make such crazy power out of these engines is what keeps bringing me back. I cant get enough
The shot outside the garage when you first fired it up gave me chills!!! You get everything dialed in that’s is going to be one mean buggy!
He such a great teacher he explains everything in so much detail . For the first time I under stand him great for beginners
Engine sounds fantastic. You are building really quality pieces. Don't change anything about the engine. Great job. Custom buggy builds might be a great business for Red Beards Garage. Selling frames, rollers, turn key buggies. Very cool. Can't wait for next episode!!
Keep doing what you’re doing. If you do what everyone tells you to do, you’re no different than a lot of the guys on RUclips that are doing the same old thing. Your videos are awesome, they’re interesting, and people can learn something from them. It would’ve been easier to do it a bunch of different ways, but it would’ve been boring too. Keep up the great content, have fun doing it, and God bless.
Definitely impressed with how far you have come as a builder over the years. Been watching your channel for a long time and you have come a long way! This is a sweet little buggy! Looks like a ton of fun!
Congratulations on the first ride. That thing looks sick! Can't imagine riding it. Looks amazing brother!
Thanks for your inspiring videos!
Your gocarts are really getting more and more nicer and interesting to look at this last months.
Keep up the good work!
And God bless! 👍😊
Wow, the whole build, especially the engine is so impressive! 🙌
It looks beautiful. I'd add a spall net or some ballistic steel plate to the back of the seat area just incase you have a rod go flying, though. 8000rpm is no joke.
Same with the belt
Your right
those aftermarket rods won't break, and IF they did, they'd break in 2 and hang in there, not come flying out.
I was thinking firewall, but then in racing go karts, your balls hit the gas tank. lol
I have been waiting to see that thing in action since you started it. It turned out amazing and I want something similar...good job looking forward to more action with it
Great video and short test run, thank you!
Red Beard, we used to use Ford smog pumps off of the '80s to '90s Fords for crankcase evacuation pumps on supercharged or turbocharged engines. They work fairly well for that purpose. One of those may help alleviate the dipstick blowout issue and it will help seal up the bottom end of the engine, providing many benefits. Research it and see what you think, it may be just what you need or that engine.
Been looking forward to seeing this thing for a while, great work!
Waited so long for this build to get done 😁👍👍👍👍👍
Love that V-twin sound.
Clean, beautifully crafted. Excellent Work, love it.
That’s a cool buggy anyone who has something bad to say about your work or how you did thing just ask to see there buggy or anything they have built. Great job
You have come a long ways. Real impressive what you are doing, thank you RB!
Iv been waiting for this video for a while. I’m so excited to see a video of you riding it.
Love the sound of that engine. Be safe always. Peace. Happy holiday to you and yours.🇺🇸
That’s a beautiful machine, so many cleanly built and installed parts, the exhaust looks gorgeous, it sounds great, and you definitely are not far from getting er dialed in. Be safe!!
How does this guy not have a million sub.s Help this channel get there. Amazing detail & knowledge sharing. Keep it up!
That thing is sweet! These projects have come a ways since Little Red lol.
Damn I love that thing! I wish I had the room, and time to build one. That sucker is incredible! It will for sure be a head turner....
And that little bit of blower! Yeeeeeehaaaaw! Nice work y'all! Can't wait to see it go HAM! 💯 💪
It's a work of art and a beast at the same time.
Gonna be a Ripper!!! Keep at it, can't wait see it done!!
Hell of a job Greg. Don't even sweat the negative cv comments. You skills are shining my friend.
Amen man. The boosted 670 deserves to live. It’s different which is why it’s interesting. Motorcycle engine buggies have been done countless times
Looks Great man. You guys did 1 heck of a job. Congratulations and a job well done !!
Congrats man! I can only imagine how good that first ride felt.
that's what makes it all worth it!
I love it with that motor it matches the build
Man this buggy is so sweet and it straight rips great work buddy this thing turned out amazing
You come a long way from your humble beginnings in your house to a Big garage God is good Red!!
Freaking fun!!! Awesome series…insta-subscribed! Great video👍👍👍
Finally! Enough with the teaser videos lol No but for real good job man. I've been watching your channel for a little over a year now and I gotta say you helped me with my builds for sure.
That is one awesome buggy. I like the fact that it is very unique. People will see a "lawn mower" engine for power so there expectations will be low. Then when you fire it up and rip it they will love it. I think it sounds wicked to.
Love the sound of that V Twin!
I'm really glad to hear you address the motorcycle engine option and why you didn't go that route. Good on you and for the reasons that you stated. That is so important. Do it the way you want, for the challenge. Not the way some anonymous idiots who left their check books at home would want you to do it.
I wouldn’t ignore the fact that it built enough pressure to blow the dipstick out. You need crankcase ventilation.
yup
He knows more then you will ever know about them lmao.you really think you're going to tell him something he doesn't already know lol
Yup. If the dipstick's gettin' blown out horsepower is being lost to crankcase pressure.
@@abitofeverything9970 he knows nore about them then you will ever know lol
@@abitofeverything9970 how many engines has he modified alot how many have you done lol zero but he doesn't know what he's doing lmao he could have 5 done before you could get you're first one done lol
That is an awesome build, love the car. Amazing creativity!
That thing is sweet man, you’ve become one talented fabricator! Looks like a blast to rip around 🤙🏼🤙🏼
GREAT VIDEO... You are motivating dads and young men to INVENT ! THANK YOU.
Amazing! It sounds like it’s still got a little hiccup in the carb tune. But other than the torque converter stuff and getting the tube right (either by a fuel injection set up or just properly tuning the carb) this thing will rip!
Awesome video. I’m a new subscriber. Great technical info. Thanks!
I can’t wait to see it once you get the slipping problem taken care of. Sounds good too!
Buggy and Engine turned out awesome
Greg, this thing is badass! Built from scratch to boot! I e been waiting to see it RIP. Sounds great too, like a big cammed v8 with a loose converter. Congratulations brother on getting it going. With right pulleys and belt, its gonna be scary fast.
I'm glad you are working out all the cvt bugs. If this works out (I'm sure it will) Zach said he will build me one too. You and I will make similar power, but my 670 isn't using boost. Thanks for sharing all this!
That motor has plenty of power don't listen to the haters it's a ripper I love this buggy keep on trucking✊
Dayum dude that thing sounds wicked and pulls some beans
Love the way that thing sounds
Did a really good job on that build congratulations always remember take pride in your work
AWESOME BUILd!! THANK YOU RED BEARD!!!
Looks like a really sick sand rail. Love it.
Nice Grinding. Homie gots skills! That Rips.
Sounds like one bad azz buggy! Love perspective from video. Great job showing engine mod!
Lol you got me. I was the motorcycle motor guy, but I also said I get doing something different. It’s all badass!
What a beast. I wish I could build like that!! Keep it up bud🤘
Red your the shit, I hope to come down to one of the rides in Tennessee, keep up the great work.
Hey man absolutely love the videos keep up the good work
It's already producing crazy power to chuck that buggy about ,its just a case of getting the power to catch .👍alvb.
Your a hard worker and your videos are awesome !!!
Hi Greg, I love the content. This channel and others like it inspired me to tackle my own build. Thanks for what you do. This buggy is amazing.
So awesome! Sounds amazing and will be crisper after tuning the carb correctly
Do your thing your way awesome build keep it up
Y'all have built a sick buggy
SOUNDS BAD ASS !!! great job
Nice ! Seems to be a smooth ride
Now that Right there is a MASTER PIECE
Hell yeah brother. Awesome stuff
Man, that things gonna rip. From the scooter tuning side of things speaking, cvt being perfect can make or break a motor. You'll get it figured out
Love this stuff. A channel for us full grown children 🤘
Awesome job man! Sounds great.
Love your videos man keep it coming
Love the build brother good job
Great video.... Very nice build... Subscribed
I need a go-kart like that with headlights tail lights and turn signals with that beast of an engine that thing looks amazing
Sounded good. Looks like fun. Quality work from evidence ive seen.
Keep doing what you are. Dont listen to haters that's all some people have to do. Praying for you brother God bless
I have been waiting for ever for this video 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Your one hell of a mechanic
Nice job captain! I was into garden tractor pulling and we would fun Kohler 25 vtwins. Our engine builder could build these engines to Produce 100-150 hp. I actually used a big block ford air pump from the 1970’s to supercharge my v-twin and chose a pulley size to produce 10psi of boost. It takes a lot of tuning but these motors can make some serious power! Keep up the awesome videos sir and I enjoy your fabrication skills!
I always wanted to spin up a big air pump! I knew it would work! thanks for that info!
First ride is always about finding and fixing the bugs....mine was the same way.....it only gets better from here!!
Very awesome videos Bud, keep um coming.
What an awesome project.
It was like one of Tim Cameron's rigs pulling out of the shop.
First let me say that is a freakin’ amazing buggy!!! Wishing I had one!!!
The best reason to run N in your shocks is that it is an inert gas and will not interact with metal or anything else.
Oxygen is the ultimate oxidizer. Besides facilitating corrosion, it will make things like grease and oil combust!
and it doesn't expand/ contract, changing your pre load too. New cars come with nitrogen in the tires to reduce pressure fluctuations at temperature
im impressed you doubled your power over stock with it to ... as a mechanic that has specialised in performance double the power is somthing rare ..... with boost as your primary cause of increase !
She sounds awesome!
Looks fun, nice to see folks with skills.
Thanks for the video RBG
I haven't watched you guys for so long... I decided to come back
Love your videos!! I've watched this project from the beginning and I think you did an awesome job. I wish I had your knowledge. Take care. :-)
Thats a sick buggy, after you get done with tuning it'll be fast , that is something that has to be done with a new engine anyway. Some people!
Awesome build!! I really enjoy your channel it's entertaining as well as informative.
GOD SPEED
GOD BLESS,
STAY HEALTHY
