    1) Very fun video
    2) "louder" isnt always "better".... although there is usually a top end or bottom end increase in performance.... sometimes enough power and quieter... can be an overall more enjoyable long term ride
    3) ( for me this is the greater "Issue".....)
"SPRUNG vs UN-SPRUNG WEIGHT".... Reducing weight (mass) from the suspension down is a HUGE positive for Confort, Control, Traction, Component Endurance....
In this build...The engine moves with the axle vs floating as part of the vehicle.
    This causes
    a) extra stress ON the engine.. (the exhaust will likely crack) etc...
    b) reduced traction and handling performance as the rear tires wont track back on the the road surface as quickly
    c) The rear axle's mass wont float off of a bump as swiftly so that impacting energy will travel upward and into the frame... MORE of every "bump" is transferred into the vehicle frame and passengers..= rougher feeling ride while reducing handling and traction
nevertheless... HELL YES !!! FOR SIMPLICITY AND FUN FACTOR
The build and the builder still deserve huge thumbs way up....

  • @swaterman08
    @swaterman08 5 лет назад +2

I had one years ago about the same model. I would start with the Suspension.
I destroyed mine each time I took it out. Would be an hour of driving and a couple weekends of fixing it.
When you hit a bump or go over a small log it just bends and breaks everything.
They have a small engine turbos that would be pretty cool

You should use heat wrap or exhaust rap on the exhaust pipe to reduce more heat , help with the belt problem, also I’d shorten the long part of the pipe so the muffler just sits tucked so if you roll it it’s not sticking out and bends off . Great idea taking the baffling out too 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻 sounds real good sir

That Vtwin doesnt have the displacement to suffer any high rpm loss with that exhaust headers size . Its sound and throttle response make it very obvious there is no flow restriction at any RPM that would cost him HP. Its obviously seeing a boost in both HP and torque .

Bad critter. Good convert. Horse power. Proven that a 24 horse power gas engine can move a Oldsmobile. The power to weight ratio on cart must be neck snapping. Great show om

What is absolutely amazing is the number of times you said: "ABSOLUTELY AMAZING" in this video. I am not saying this to belittle you, just pointing out that you need to choose words to better convey your thoughts.

Beautiful I love the way it turn out. I have a yerf dog spiderbox and a 1980 Yamaha motorcycle and I'm going to try to put that engine on the yerf dog

I think the buggy is to slow. You should gear it up, the engine has deffinetly enough power.

He needs to hear it down.... To me it looks like the 670 is overpowering the drivetrain and if it was geared down I personally think it would run better this way as I've described

@@VasilyBuilds Im sure even as young as you are you have many years in doing this stuff already. But do you have any advice for a 25 year old that wants to try and learn this type of work? Thanks!

i think the belt was slipping because you made your engine lean..it had a header and a stock air filter...you had more air leaving than going in, that could also have been a cause for the belt slipping, other than that great work

Great build, sounds like you need a stiffer spring in the primary clutch to get it up in it's powerband. You raised the high rpm power but the torque converter is keeping it too low
