I like the accent of arabs when they speak Hebrew. When Israelis speak, it sounds more gutural and harsh (reminds me of German), arabs make it sound more soft and less aggressive, which is weird because I find Arabic a very harsh sounding language. because they actually manage to pronounce letters that should be pronounced when speaking a Semitic language, they share the same roots, like the R's and Ein's, all very typical sounds of Semitic languages, but since the Israelis were composed mainly of European settlers, they can't really pronounce it and it all ended up a big homogeneous GH and guttural sounds, I also find the evolution of Hebrew language quite uneasy on the ears, since initially It sounded good but the way they speak now sounds very aggressive and rude and give me PTSD.

People need ti understand that National Service does not = IDF or military service of any kind at all. Still they must get credit for doing this even when it is just a desk job or kindergarten job. They are still serving Israel (but not physically defending it).
in germany we abolished the mandatory service. I did national service too. When I see this video I think it was the worst decision. It kind of creates a national identity, everybody has to serve for the same country, no matter where you're from. Gives a sense of togethernes

As a citizen of a country you have obligations, not only rights, it's an important part of a functioning state, so I don't agree with him on not doing national service, it makes him a parrasite on the country. As an Israeli Jew I think terms, especially political, haven't matured to were Israeli Arabs, as a collective, can serve in the IDF, but National Service is great way for them to get more integrated with the jew community and also for them to feel part of one nation. As a Turk, I don't hate the Israelis since I know that we're somewhat culturally similar at some aspects. At some others we're not. I want there to be peace between Israel and Palestine and between Turks and Kurds as well. We share the similar problem which is that we're divided. We need to be united. Turks and Israelis do not personally have a problem with each other but with each their own minorities. We each have similar conflicts within each of our countries.

From an outsider perspective why should an Arab or anyone considered a Palestinian volunteer to be part of a culture and society that does not recognize them as equal under the law? That is the primary issue as I see it period in regard to Palestinians they are not treated or looked at as equal. It is also why Israel holds the solutions to most of the problems because until they act at least from a legal perspective to put Palestinians and Jews on the same level of accountability and expectations they cannot expect anything to change for the positive. People in general worldwide would have very little to complain about if everyone were considered a citizen.
They are recognized as equals by law within the state of Israel (not occupied territories). There are for sure right-wing religious Zionists who still have disdain for Arab Israelis (Palestinians of 1948) but they are a minority. These rights of course are not extended to Palestinians who live in the West Bank unfortunately. But Israelis are not a monolith. Jews are not allowed to enter many Arab countries, or are only allowed if they don’t bring Jewish clothes and pretend to be Muslim. Why is that okay? I'm an atheist Jew from Israel, and I agree with you. Orthodox Jews should be given the same treatment as all other Jews in Israel, if that's conscription then so be it. Arab Israelis I can understand, because it's much more complicated for some of them, and I have the greatest respect for our Arab brothers & sisters who volunteer to the army. Why do all Jews of age have to serve in the army IDF? What better way to indoctrinate your population into believing an unjust cause that seeks to establish a state by eliminating the lawful residents of an area. If there was no such thing as mandatory service, and the "birthright" program, the Jewish people of the world and even Israel would slowly come to understand that the Israeli state is an apartheid state that was established only to further cause strife in the region. I like the accent of arabs when they speak Hebrew. When Israelis speak, it sounds more gutural and harsh (reminds me of German), arabs make it sound more soft and less aggressive, which is weird because I find Arabic a very harsh sounding language. because they actually manage to pronounce letters that should be pronounced when speaking a Semitic language, they share the same roots, like the R's and Ein's, all very typical sounds of Semitic languages, but since the Israelis were composed mainly of European settlers, they can't really pronounce it and it all ended up a big homogeneous GH and guttural sounds, I also find the evolution of Hebrew language quite uneasy on the ears, since initially It sounded good but the way they speak now sounds very aggressive and rude and give me PTSD.

As an Israeli Jew I think terms, especially political, haven't matured to were Israeli Arabs, as a collective, can serve in the IDF, but National Service is great way for them to get more integrated with the jew community and also for them to feel part of one nation. As a Turk, I don't hate the Israelis since I know that we're somewhat culturally similar at some aspects. At some others we're not. I want there to be peace between Israel and Palestine and between Turks and Kurds as well. We share the similar problem which is that we're divided. We need to be united. From an outsider perspective why should an Arab or anyone considered a Palestinian volunteer to be part of a culture and society that does not recognize them as equal under the law? That is the primary issue as I see it period in regard to Palestinians they are not treated or looked at as equal. It is also why Israel holds the solutions to most of the problems because until they act at least from a legal perspective to put Palestinians and Jews on the same level of accountability and expectations they cannot expect anything to change for the positive. People in general worldwide would have very little to complain about if everyone were considered a citizen.
They are recognized as equals by law within the state of Israel (not occupied territories). There are for sure right-wing religious Zionists who still have disdain for Arab Israelis (Palestinians of 1948) but they are a minority. These rights of course are not extended to Palestinians who live in the West Bank unfortunately. But Israelis are not a monolith. Jews are not allowed to enter many Arab countries, or are only allowed if they don’t bring Jewish clothes and pretend to be Muslim. Why is that okay? I'm an atheist Jew from Israel, and I agree with you. Orthodox Jews should be given the same treatment as all other Jews in Israel, if that's conscription then so be it. Arab Israelis I can understand, because it's much more complicated for some of them, and I have the greatest respect for our Arab brothers & sisters who volunteer to the army. We are one people, regardless of Arab or Jew, atheist or Christian.

He should have also asked them if they believe they should have equal rights and education opportunities. It's pretty simple, in my opinion. If there is mandatory service, you shouldn't get equal opportunities, if you're not willing to give equal service. Because that wouldn't be equal rights at all. That would be all take and no give for the arabs. There has to be a give/take for equality.
They have the same rights, one of them said that after doing national service they receive a scholarship to study, they are treated in the same hospitals as Jews and Christians, they have the freedom to study in an Arab, mixed or Jewish school, they can live in Any city in Israel they want (Jews cannot) can form their own political party and there is one, they can become supreme judges, which there are also, they receive a pension like any other Jew or Christian, if they lose their job they receive a salary until they get a new one and the state helps you look for one (for a certain time) like any Jew, if you have a disability they pay you a bonus according to the degree of your disability, I am not Jewish, I have an autistic son and I receive a monthly pension for him, the same that a Jewish, Muslim or Christian child receives, in short it could be said that they have more rights or the possibility of choosing between more options than a Jew. Why do all Jews of age have to serve in the army IDF?
What better way to indoctrinate your population into believing an unjust cause that seeks to establish a state by eliminating the lawful residents of an area. If there was no such thing as mandatory service, and the "birthright" program, the Jewish people of the world and even Israel would slowly come to understand that the Israeli state is an apartheid state that was established only to further cause strife in the region. To have a permanent militarized area that exists to be a extension of the Western interests in a region if left alone would become a cohesive geopolitical competition to the Western hegemony.
The Arabs are united by common history, common, language, common religion. And are highly resource rich. If they were left alone by the western world, their would already exist a pan Arab organization that would have been a great world power that would be able to challenge the power of the West. The truth is, no one in power wants to lose power. I don't blame them. But I blame the Arabs for not seeing the obvious injustices and the shackles that they willingly wear. Of course Israel and the West reinforces those shackle, yet the Arabs are not cognizant of the slavery that they have brought upon themselves.

Where there are now genetic evidence that most Palestinians were in fact decendents of all the nation's that ruled the area overtime, as well as Jews who converted millenia ago. The fact is that most Jews who live in Israel now have no genetic ancestors that can be traced to the area. They are almost all East Europeans who converted to Judaism thousands of years ago. The Jews who belonged in Israel stayed and coexistence peacefully with Muslims and Christians for thousand years before the Europeans sought to establish your illegal state.
