You're an excellent teacher. I especially appreciate the way you remind viewers of the simple things that can make learning so much easier (e.g., "hold ctrl and shift to size it up and down," "hold the mouse scroll key to. . . "). I'd love to see the process for creating some text for the lap top screen. Do you have a video that would address that?
Hi Nick, I was always wondering that Isometric drawings were tough but then when I watched your video, you made it look so simple and so effective. Many thanks for putting this out. Keep up the great job!
+Nick Saporito (LogosByNick) Well it is true, good free and open source software like inkscape or krita lack of good high quality tutorials and you are doing it right :D
I'm just getting back into the groove of Inkscape. I'm a self professed screen printer with amateur/intermediate art skills. Your video tutorials are great for advanced learning. Thanks so much!!!
Quick and effective. I'd never used the inbuilt grid before, I always built my own grids. Amazing what can be learnt after several years of DIY and invention, lol! Also never knew selecting 'b' opened the Bezier. Love that one. Cheers!
+Nadine White Haha it's amazing what can be learned even after several years of using the software. I just learned about the "B" thing recently myself, and quite often learn about new things from comments users leave.
I love that, have been training my brain to use 'b' - and also to use 't' when jumping in and out of text boxes after selecting them. Looking forward to those moments becoming automatic.
I know inkscape isn't illustrator or Corel draw, it's buggy and somehow slow, but it does really good job for free. I'm not graphics designer but I'm using it everyday at my work for documentation diagrams and schematics.
+Jaehyun Lim I would start with the simpler tutorials. I have them titled "Inkscape for Beginners" as opposed to "Inkscape Tutorial." These sorts of tutorial videos is exactly how I learned.
I was waiting for you to make the keyboard. Would you like a video showing how to make a quick manner. Is an excellent video as ever. see you soon, bye.
Can you make a video on how to draw vector isometric objects as seen looking from a steeper angle than the normal 45 degrees? That is using angle values other than 30 degree in axonometric grid? For example, how a cube would look like if seen at a slight angle from the front
that was a thin desktop/all in one because you couldn't shut the lid and the lid/screen was longer than the base.. I know, just being picky.. good tutorial
Piyasak Sreeroungthong If you used an opaque shade of grey, you wouldn't be able to see through the shadow if you used the image on top of a textured background, for instance.
Hi! I want to ask can I borrow your ideas for their videos (because there's no such Russian youtube video I'm from Russia) under the description leave a link to the original or rather you

If anyone asks me why I love inkscape so much I'll point them to your channel. You have just made this so easy.
I thought grid lines were useful before! Placing them on a 30 degree angle adds a whole new dimension! Great video!
Hi Nick,

Hello Nick, First of all great vid ! Can you plz make a tutorial of how you can make the desktop in the Thumbnail?
Nick,
this takes me back to my days driving 3D drafting software back in the early 90's. Wonder if Intergraph and Pro-Eng are still going?
West
Pro-Eng is now Creo Parametric
Super cool
I know inkscape isn't illustrator or Corel draw, it's buggy and somehow slow, but it does really good job for free. I'm not graphics designer but I'm using it everyday at my work for documentation diagrams and schematics.
Hello there, I love your videos can you tell me how to make the text isometric please.
Great Video
I'm new to Inkscape and I'd like to start learning.. Where should I start?
+Jaehyun Lim I would start with the simpler tutorials. I have them titled "Inkscape for Beginners" as opposed to "Inkscape Tutorial." These sorts of tutorial videos is exactly how I learned.
May I use this video to doen my school task🙏👍
Sure go right ahead!
Thx bro
Thanks for the lesson. So helpful! Please, can u say what the ubuntu theme you use?
+Сергей Гринёв It's Vertex Dark and the icon pack is Numix Circle. More info here: blog.logosbynick.com/design/how-to-make-inkscape-go-dark/

Could you make isometirc character tutorial? How to adjust curved objects in isometric view ?
nice video nick
+Craft TV Thanks!
amazing , what's your left_bottom side software ?
Can you make a video on how to draw vector isometric objects as seen looking from a steeper angle than the normal 45 degrees? That is using angle values other than 30 degree in axonometric grid? For example, how a cube would look like if seen at a slight angle from the front
You can change settings in the grid to make it at different angles
that was a thin desktop/all in one because you couldn't shut the lid and the lid/screen was longer than the base.. I know, just being picky.. good tutorial
Hi Nick. Thanks for vid. I need to print my drawing with isometric lines in background. Can I do this?
at the laptop shadow. you use black then change the opacity. why not pick the color instead?
Piyasak Sreeroungthong If you used an opaque shade of grey, you wouldn't be able to see through the shadow if you used the image on top of a textured background, for instance.
How can I rotate the axonometric grid by 90 degrees? I want the hexagon/isometric grid horizontal rather than vertical.
Hi! I want to ask can I borrow your ideas for their videos (because there's no such Russian youtube video I'm from Russia) under the description leave a link to the original or rather you
what OS you use?
I unable to find custom under view tab, my inkscape is not showing it
Which Linux are you using?
+kaihatkeinenaccount Ubuntu 14 with the Vertex Dark theme and Numix icon set
Thank you
how i make a room with 3 walls,
i dont have that blue how i get that color
+Craft TV You don't have the same colors on your interface?
no i haven'nt got that color interface
This was a nice one. Some of your "instructions" seem to be overly complicated though.
+Susanne Schlensog Thanks for the feedback!
:)
Amazing tutorial!
+Tasadduk Chowdhury Thank you
