You will upgrade your super expensive graphics card to be able to play whatever new PC games there are, but still refusing to upgrade to this cool immersive technology that's completely worth it tbh. Plus it will also support Steam Vr and Oculus.
Well VR makes some people sick, usually the games are shorter, the characters movement could be very different. I love the Metro games and was waiting forever for this to be announced. I don't want them to make a major change like that. I'm kinda disappointed already. Why can't vr just be an option?
@@VHDT10VR doesn't make some people sick, it makes VRgins sick. It's a non-issue once you get used to it, like anything else in life - pretty sure you yourself got used to flat FPS like Metro itself long ago and don't even remember it causing you that gut feeling...
because there are not so many VR games, VR itself costs comparable to the price of the console, and some more games are released exclusively for certain glasses. So it turns out that for now it's just an expensive toy that will gather dust in the closet until this gadget becomes massive and there will be a bunch of games for it.
No floating hands pretty please? A pseudo-full body like in Into The Radius or even Blade & Sorcery would work wonders. It kind of stands out especially in a game that’s so immersion focused.

After beating resident evil village and 4 remake I completely agree. They're some of the best vr experiences you can have. You're essentially getting VR games with the budget of a AAA game and it makes it hard for vr only games to even compete. There is obviously a place for vr only games that wouldn't work on a flat screen but a game like metro is not that type of game.

It's Vertigo games. They only make VR games. This could be a Half-life Alyx situation where the gameplay really don't translate well to flat gaming. Doing a VR mode of a flat game often yields better result than the reverse.

(but I understand your point about the low likelihood) Better doesn't matter -- it's about having more high-quality games, and a point of overlap for flat-screen gamers. GT7, RE8, RE4, NMS, etc, haven't hurt PSVR2, though ground-up experiences may have been "better" suited to the medium.

I'm so excited for this. I know that purely flat gamers are going to flame this, but as a heavy VR enjoyer and someone who truly does beleive it's the future, I'm thrilled that it's getting the love it deserves. I've always felt that this series would translate perfectly to VR, I've been eagerly awaiting a new entry since immediately after Exodus rolled credits, I'm even more excited to see how this perspective can push 4A's incredible environmental storytelling and world building!

@@IskandarTheWack itll be not. PCVR will give 90-120fps per eye, a lot higher res with full supersampling support and no cable with Quest3. This game on psvr2 for sure will be 60fps max with ghosting and reprojection and a lot lower res per eye. Plus Quest3 has proper pancake lenses.
Okay, I might check this out. Looks like it's going back to the linearity inside the metro. I didn't enjoy the more open nature of Exodus, but I love 2033 and Last Light. Metro is perfect for VR.

Не ожидал, что новая игра будет в VR. Мне кажется, что это скорее минус для игры. VR это несовершенная и дорогая технология.

not when you don't have VR, because you can't play it. Secondly I disagree, I don't want to disappear into the video game, which is where it's going when technology keeps advancing more and more. I want to sit outside and play it, that's what is relaxing about video games. It's not me, it's me playing a character in another world, taking a break from "me". @@IskandarTheWack
@@Dezzyyx Except you aren't "you", you're the character, no matter what. VR just allows you to exist in the world for more immersion.
it does increase the feeling of it being you inside the game though, thats the whole point of VR. I want to stay outside, so i dont need that future technology. Eventually you will go all the way inside and it WILL be you. @@IskandarTheWack

@@andyk4744there are already enough flat metro games to enjoy. Finally we are getting a proper vr Metro game. For me that’s definitely a game changer.
