With numerous Resident Evil remakes having come out over the last several years and with Capcom having confirmed that numerous Resident Evil remakes are on the way, Resident Evil isn't going away anytime soon. We explore all the signs and the new information hinting at what will likely be the very next Resident Evil remake we are likely to see in the next few years in this video.

They might reference CV in one of Chris’s flashbacks. They also might make that flashback playable.
That would make the most sense instead of remaking Veronica without any build
Also, this is a re-written timeline, so Veronica does not need to exist in this timeline.
@@TheBengalDragonThis is not a separate timeline. The remakes and original games are all one timeline and are just different tellings of the same event. Even if they don’t remake Code Veronica, it would still exist in the timeline.
@@firmlygraspit9821 I'm sorry to break this to you, but that is VERY INACCURATE. They are indeed TWO SEPARATE TIMELINES! This is because events happen in the original timeline that CONTRADICT what happens in the remake timeline. This is a fact for everyone to see. even one of the people involved with Capcom refers to this as the "current" timeline.
There is no argument here, and arguing this is like arguing if 2+3 and 4 + 3 are both equal to 5.
Now that we have that established that this is the remake timeline, separate from the original timeline, there is NO MENTION of anything to do with the Veronica virus in ANY of the remake games PUBLISHED GAMEPLAY games (not concept art). Even in RE4's version of operation javier that is mentioned, or is in document form, there is NO MENTION of the veronica virus. And NONE of the game lore has been affected. Claire and Chris reuniting can happen in a separete incident unique to this remake timeline. Wesker can reveal himself to be alive in a similar way too. Thus, in this remake timeline, Code Veronica doesn't need to exist.
As for why I don't want a cVX remake? CVX is the MOST PIVOTAL moment for Claire's character, something that has not been done in all of gaming with a female protagonist. I don't want Capcom to RUIN it. I want Capcom to conclude her traumatic story that she's been carrying since Code Veronica.

@@TheBengalDragonthe capcom individual who said it was a separate timeline in a tweet post is actually producer H (the "we do it" shirt guy) on a twitter post thts in japanese shared by "resident evil podcast" and ur right,the timeline has way too many contradictions for it to b a singular one with the OGs ever since 3R,made more apparent in 4R and SW,like the fact ada got infected by the plaga,which is hw wesker got his hands on regular plaga,the fact wesker showed up himself in the village,on the island,or o ya the fact wesker already has the location of progenitor garden marked in 2004,whn in the OGs he knew about the location in 2006 after meetin spencer,so hes 2 whole yrs ahead of schedule with his uroboros plan

This is why, as Capcom are clearly remaking the timeline, Capcom can simply "remove" the existence of the veronica virus entirely.
As I mentioned and have PROVEN, in my analyses videos, the PRIMARY purpose of Code Veronica invilved Claire's character arc, where the reunion with Chris was used to enhance her own character story.
That's why, in RE9, if Claire returns, I want her tragic story to end. She has been mentally BROKEN since CVX and never fully recovered, and there needs to be a pay off to all her suffering. This feature will not work with remake Claire. If people want a device to link RE1 and RE5 and Chris's rivalry with Wesker, then it can be done in a separate game, and Claire doesn't need to be a part of it.
I would love for Capcom to give us Wesker at his full potential and see what he's truly capable of. Like ripping someone apart with his barehands or lifting a huge boulder or building, dodging things that way too fast and him kicking butt. I would like it to be action but mixed with horror elements and hopefully they can make Mercenaries even more fun with a co-op.

I am so exited for this remake! I never played Resident Evil Veronica to be honest so I am going to play the game without any knowledge but I feel like doing that will make things more interesting for that game experience.
Ig resident evil code Veronica will be more logical to release before re5r because in CVX wesker survives the fight between chris after the alexia final boss fight and in re5 he died so i think it won't be fun to see him die then live without any logic so CVX will be released before Re5r

I agree cv and zero remakes should come first but Capcom knows what its doing the original was still good I mean story wasn't amazing and it changed into more action than horror but still it was a fun coop game

In my opinion, my RE dreams they should at first remake RE0 cause its where the Spencer/Marcus/Progenitor story started as well as Weskers and Birkins. Less silly but deeply serious. Then CV cause its the direct sequel to RE2 (couldn't name it 3 due toba Sony deal and it was Dreamcast exklusive at first) and it furthers the story of Chris and Wesker. And then RE5 where it all comes together. The big conclusion to the main storyline. It ends Spencer's, Marcus', Chris', Jill's, Wesker's and Umbrella's ongoing stories with lots of revelations. Then the main ark is completed. 😁
I’m actually REALLY looking forward to this. The last three remakes of two through four were absolute dynamite 🧨! Not saying the originals were bad but the remakes made them better. Code Veronica and RE5 (which I found out that it might get a remake as well) were very, VERY underrated over the rest. I have no doubt these remakes will revive these games and make them better than they were before. And I could just imagine how they would the same with RE6 and Revelations 1 and 2 because those games had potential but ultimately failed (in form of gameplay not story because there were parts that were far too easy or far too hard in some areas no matter what the difficulty was. Too many staggering and stun attacks, too many difficult power struggles, too many instant kills. Good concepts though. So if we are gonna get remakes of those games in the future, they gotta make them the best like RE2, RE3, RE4, and hopefully RE5, and Code Veronica)

I'm going to be honest here I was hoping for them to do code Veronica and not resident evil 5 just yet but if it does happen you know it's still going to be an awesome game but I just wish code Veronica came first because I don't know what it is about the zombie thing that's a little more frightening to me compared to the parasite situation even though I do love that the remake made it a little more creepy but I wish they would have kept that up with that idea of creepiness because once you get involved with the castle areas with the Cult members then it becomes less creepy for some reason

I can't wait for Re5 remake. I think it would do a lot of good to abandon co-op, even though I did enjoy Sheva as a game character. But that game has so much potential as being solo.
And yes, the graphics NEED an update. People who say it doesn't are kidding themselves. Every Re game should be remade and kept up to date and at the moment it is the latest Re4R. Can't wait for more, keep going, Capcom! 👍💪

It’s been said many times before but we don’t need an RE5 remake, we need a cv remake and for side projects do something like rev3
It needs to be re0 and re1 in one game then recv with operation Javier as dlc then re5 and possibly an udate to re2 and 3 with extra cutscenes and story aspects to both so they really cross over with each other then re9 because re9 can wait a little longer as they cant just throw wesker in re4 remake and just leave it from there as we need the other games remade first to build up weskers story from re0 to re5 then they can carry on with re9 with chris investigating the BSAA European branch with possiblity of blue umbrella helping them fund bio weapons

@@Grimm1334 It is VERY difficult. I remember SOMEHOW finishing the original RE games on the easiest setting. The last RE game I finished was RE4 original, and that itself was very hard. RE5 was too hectic for me. I never finished it, and after that I stopped buying RE games.
None of the remakes have good accessibility features. I hope they do for RE5 remake.

I just try my best. But there's only so much I can do with modern games and what not.
In fact, my next big project is a review off The Evil Within 2. I never played the game as it is EXTREMELY inaccessible, but I made a review based on what I have seen and what I made of the story.
I have a more detailed review of GOW Ragnarok and its DLC Valhalla, where I was actually able to play the game.
That being said, I REALLY hope that RE5R is accessible for people like me.
Remake All The Resident Evil Games Its A Must 😊
I am still hoping for a code Veronica game first, because it was the right amount of challenging even on the easiest difficulty. But… if 5 is next I hope Capcom keeps the Co-Op for the campaign and mercenaries because for me even if I was playing co-op I was still experiencing the horror this game showed contrary to what I heard a lot of people say about it not being scary In co-op. But then I am in the minority for that

Oh, you texting yes on Resident Evil 5 remake and texting no to Code Veronica remake because it's a spin-off, not a number entry.
Why remake 5? It already plays like the other remakes. I don't feel like updating partner AI would make it worth the $80 price tag. RE5 is still pretty modern. Code Veronica could use a remake way more but why not just make new games? Not trying to offend those excited about remakes but I'm so burnt out on them at this point...
80 dollar price tag? i bought all the remakes for 16 dollars or less. Resident evil 4 remake I just bought for 16 dollars on sale that was the most exspensive. Got resident evil 2 remake for 6 dollars. They didnt even charge 80 dollars on day one XD
