Anya was amazing. Of course she had over a thousand years of experience, so stands to reason she'd have the best ideas.
I love how all these strategies weren’t clear cut solutions to end glory but rather help in slowing her down and wearing her out until she eventually couldn’t take it anymore and reverted back to Ben.

Buffy had so good choreography.
Especially for the time it was made, and it still looks better than a lot of choreographed tv fight scenes today.
Glory is one of the best villains in TV history

@Darryl Wiggins what’s crazy is that Glory wasn’t even interested in Buffy nor the entire dimension compared to other enemies. All she cared about was going home.

The Buffybot's flying head, Gloria fighting in flip flops (and keepin'em on during the whole sequence), the goddamn wrecking ball, the monkey-like climbing, their quotes... EVERYTHING IS JUST... OH, TOO MUCH TO HANDLE WITHOUT LAUGHING MY ASS OFF. High quality content, no doubts.
Loved Buffy- bot reveal and the Olaf's Hammer Blows, much to Glory's chagrin. You can't put Buffy in a corner!

The brawling scenes were well organized and choreographed
Union is on a new one and it will take you a few hours for the first week and will you be back at work at all the way I have the time for that to work on my schedule for next month
The actress playing Glory delivered well in this scene. You can see her face almost every time she takes a hit, or has a fall, which means that the stunt double performed much less than usual.

Goddamn Clare Kramer was flawless ❤ always wondered why she didn't get more work
I met and had an opportunity to talk with Ms. Kramer in 2005 when she was filming her horror film "The Gravedancers" at the house across the street from mine in Greensboro, NC. Not only is she a terrific actress, she's a sweet person as well. I asked her for an autograph for my daughter, who was a big Buffy fan and then away at graduate school. Ms. Kramer seemed genuinely flattered to be asked, and was sure to sign it "Clare Kramer (Glory)."
I think playing a mega bitchy cheerleader in bring it on definitely helped her get this role! 😉👍

When I saw this on t.v. the hammer scene I said "AHHH, JEESEUSSS"!! That'll take the taste right outta your mouth!
The best battle on the show where the entire gang's talents came into play.
That was a dumb tactical move by having the Buffybot give the Dagon Sphere to Glory. It could have been used to keep her at bay while Dawn was rescued.
But she crushes it in about a second and seemingly only effects her when she holds it. They probably knew it wouldn't do much, even Willow did more damage.
@@kamurotetsu4860 you're not paying attention. The Buffybot clearly said Glory isn't "blurry with speed" as she's usually is. Glory agreed and said the Willow was at fault before she realized she wasn't. Glory looked disoriented and ill in the sphere's presence and only became atop of her game after she crushed the sphere and had time to recovered. She looked just as unsettled when Willow was throwing lightening bolts at her. The monk said the Dagon Sphere was designed to keep Glory at bay and thats what it did.

Consistency was NOT what this show did. Of course, it's also not what real live teenagers do (at any rate, not my students) so in that sense the realism was spot on! 😆
The trollgod didn’t have the anguish of a sister’s life in trouble behind it. And not just any sister - a sister who felt more like the physical being of the person herself. There was no anguish to forge into strength when Olaf hit Xander with the hammer.

Like it or not, Buffy was always a better fighter than Glory. If Glory weren’t invincible she would’ve been slayed. Kudos to the scoobies for truly coming together and using everything they had to take this bitch down, and props to Buffy for going toe to toe with her providing the opportunities to wear Glory out. Yes it took a lot, but at the end of the day Buffy finished the job with nothing but her Slayer strength and Olafs hammer

I feel like giving glory the sphere was a bad move. They could’ve kept it close and hidden to keep her in the weaken state.

Buffy couldn't bring herself to kill Ben because he's still human.

So she had the sphere thingy, and instead of beating Glory to death with the hammer, she had the robot give Glory the sphere thingy so she could destroy it and resist the hammer, and then insults HER intelligence? Been a while, was there something I am missing?
The sphere was designed to repel Glory. While it seemed to weaken her it could not kill her.
The hammer could not kill Glory.
Glory had only one weakness and it was the one weakness Buffy could never exploit.
If Ben dies, Glory dies. That was Glory's one weakness.
Buffy could not bring herself to kill Ben.
No amount of damage Buffy did to Glory would kill her. Weaken yes, but not kill.
Thats why when Giles had the chance to take out Ben he did.

Question: was glory weakness that orb that she destroyed? I know the only way to kill her was to kill the guy who kept repossessing her, but I’m a bit confused. Season 5-6 were the only seasons I missed

The orb was designed to repel her.
Glory's weakness was the fact she was trapped in a human body. Kill the human and Glory dies with him.
Buffy couldn't bring herself to kill a human even knowing what letting Ben live would mean when Glory would re-emerge.
Thankfully Giles did what Buffy couldn't.
I’m sorry but Buffy was beating Glory’s ass. I remember her being stronger when they first met and she seem to weaken over time. How was that explained? Was it because Glory being in a human body ebbed her powers away? Outside of the Damon’s fear being close would it depower her that much?
Glory was rather literally depowered before this fight started. Willow popped up, ripped the piece of soul that Glory sucked away from Tara, and left a psychic hot mess in Glory's head as she left.

I actually remember watching this... didn't they want Britney Spears to play Glory?
They wanted her to do a guest role, but Britney was recording her 3rd album "Britney" at the time, doing multiple commericals and marketing magic with Pepsi and filming Crossroads at the time.
Honestly the idea of Brittney as glory would have been glorious but clare was still a force.
