Lots and lots of people skipped Yakuza 3, it's a really underated game. Loved playing in Okinawa, the story, the NPCs and everything about it. I'm so lucky that I played every single yakuza game one by one and the moment they were released so I never got spoiled or anything🥰

"But wait until you unlock Tiger Drop, Komaki this Komaki that" that is the problem. If 1 single move makes the combat from bad to good, that means that the combat at its core is missing something. 0, Kiwami 1 and 2 apart from being far more modern since the first minute are fun and engaging in terms of combat, unlike 3. You don't need advanced tech to make a good combat system or THAT specific move to have fun in those titles. I want a good combat right from the get go and Y3 can't provide it unlike the other entries in the series.

Including 3. Yakuza 3 has a fun but rough start and later on when you get the hang of it it's fun and not that hard anymore if you got good at it. Also I never said anything about komaki moves. Use those only in the collesiuem grind if you wanna enjoy the game. I didn't even learn the komaki moves in the final bossfight and only had difficulty with lau ka long but on my second playthrough I destroyed that guy. Get good at the game and try to use more moves you actually start of with.
This QTE was scary as hell because I was on low health on hard, it was kind of impressive how dangerous they made this feel because I think there was another QTE he did that brutally damaged me before.
When you fight him in Daigo’s room, I got him in a position where he kept doing the running slam and I infinite Tiger Dropped him until the fight was over. I have never felt more powerful in a game

I got bored. So... I counted CIA Operative's shots. He made 11 shots with left pistol and 8 - with right. (If I didn't make a mistake) Model of his guns similar to Drow-Z 55. Drow-Z 55 has 15 bullet in magazine. So he CAN make this QTE without reloading :)
That QTE where Kiryu dodges the bullet reminds me of Yakuza 0 when Majima had a QTE to dodge Lao Gui’s bullet. Or in Yakuza Kiwami 2, where in the opening scene of the final boss fight, Majima dodged another bullet in the same fashion as this.
@@XEM_Ajax That is true, but it’s Majima. If he can (during a heat move) catch a katana with his mouth, disarm the katana from the opponent and send it back, all while being in a crouched and uncomfortable position, he can do pretty much anything fighting-wise 😂
