I absolutely adore how the action sequences show that Ichi's become a much better fighter. He isn't just using sloppy haymakers and grabs, now he's busting out spinning kicks, elbows, armbars. It's so cool.
Yeah, it also shows he skillfully handles multiple goons himself and could also dodge a lot of deadly attacks from good fighters like Yamai, Wong Tou and Dwight.
19:23 had me howling because if you interact with the plant pot on the way in Saeko thinks Kiryu is admiring the flowers but he says he's thinking about cover for a shootout.

If you don't get rid of the tentacles targeting a party member, yeah. Learned that the hard way because I tried to be fancy and tried to use AOEs when none of them hit the body and the arm at the same time.

There's an action sequence that was missed, but I don't blame you for missing it. During the fight in the theater, when it's split up into 2 groups, if Adachi and Tomizawa both get KO'd, there's a sequence where they both run up to where Kasuga is. This also auto-revives them with 1 HP. For me, Tomi got KO'd, and went next to Kasuga when revived, then Adachi got KO'd and the sequence played.
It's nice that the game throw you a bone here. I was expecting them to stay KO'd because of the PTSD I got from jima brothers difficulty spike in the last game.
They really cooked on the dynamic intros in this game; Bryce and his Palekana Warriors' in particular was straight-up biblical and made me so hyped lmao
Never thought being underleveled for the 3jimas fight would make it so much more enjoyable Side note: Failing the Wong Tau QTE looks so much more cooler

Wherever it may be, Ijincho is far from enough, so I bet going international is a must or maybe 1 or 2 new, big areas in Japan. Maybe it’ll be in somewhere in China or Hong Kong. Who knows?
I think they may keep it in Hawaii for now. Creating the Honolulu map had to have taken them time, throwing it out after using it once would be a waste of resources

I really like where RGG's going with both Judgments and Infinite Wealth. These games are so cinematic and got many memorable epic moments. It's fascinating how far we've come from the very first game on PS2!
I like failing the QTE because it makes it feel like the Antagonist have the same strength as the protagonist, makes it feel like an even Battle and raises the coolness of the Antagonist.
One thing that has me sort of confused me is how does Ichiban and his gang even know Kiryu? Last time we saw Kiryu in 7, they never learned his name or anything about him. Yet as soon as Kiryu appears, everyone knows everything about him. Does that mean they have met Kiryu after the events of 7? Wouldn't really make sense if someone just straight up told them about Kiryu because why would they do that?
They do meet Kiryu and got to know him after the event of 7, you should also take into account the fact that there's a 3 years gap between LAD7 and 8 so literally anything could've happened in that timeframe
Rumors of Kiryu showing up for the Great Dissolution popped up (a certain past character caught wind of this). Ichiban and his friends must have heard of them and connected the dots after doing some research. In addition, the Geomijul party members already know who Kiryu really is in 7.
its very strange that gaiden just doesnt get mentioned at all aside from hanawa. kiryu didnt try to meet with masawa and that nishitani and sishido just dont appear at all
