    Hello! When doing this exercise, what happens if I forgot the place where we pulled over? is it instant fail or is it possible to I ask the assessor where? My pda is next week, I’m very nervous. 😫

    @DrivingSchoolWA When i did my test in Kelmscott we drove past a quiet carpark of a nearby playground/park, the assessor said this to me see that carpark there, I want you to remember this carpark we will be heading back into that carpark for a reverse park we turned right into a street then he said alright lets turn around and go back to that carpark, i remember there was a nearby roundabout i used that to do a u turn right around it then turned left back towards that carpark 😅

    When they tell you to pull over on the side of the road, do you have to keep your signal on when parked or do you turn it off?

    • @DrivingSchoolWA
      @DrivingSchoolWA  4 года назад +5

      Turn it off. They shouldn't fail you for leaving it on, but it's best to turn it off.

    Hey... when a stationary car turned right on a signal, in which gear it should be drive so as to make the steering straight and also taking care about the rpm ???? for eg. When i turn right on first gear, the rpm goes too high and the car is still at low speed and the flow is not maintained properly...

    Can't u make a 3 point turn on the street?

    • @DrivingSchoolWA
      @DrivingSchoolWA  4 года назад +2

      U turn (not 3 point turn) on any street if it's safe to do so or three point turn in a driveway that is not too close to any intersection

    this is a very stupid question, but how would you know what speed limit you are suppose to be doing if there arent any signs and you are not sure? thank you so much

    • @DrivingSchoolWA
      @DrivingSchoolWA  3 года назад +2

      You are most welcome! People ask that all the time, and it makes perfect sense. Suppose you are on a residential road 50 km p/h unless there are road works or school zones (40 in most cases). If you don't know the limit, drive 50 (default speed) until you see a sign.
      The best advice that we can give you is to get familiar with the area to feel more comfortable and to know speed limits. By the way, the vast majority of streets where you do the exercise left something behind would be 50 km per hour, and rarely 60. Thanks for visiting our channel.

    Thanks for the videos. They are so helpful. I want to know when we do the u turn from the left hand t-junction, is it allowed to cut the line in the middle? Many thanks.

    when you pull aside to the road, should you still indicate even if there's no car to over take before stopping?

    • @DrivingSchoolWA
      @DrivingSchoolWA  2 года назад +1

      indicating to stop on the side of the road has nothing to do with overtaking, you do it to let people behind you know that you are stopping or parking

    *QUESTION*
    _I have my pda in a couple of days and I would like to know if it's ok for your car to go pass the mail box? If so, then how far should my car pass the mail box? I have forgotten what my instructor told me, because it's been a while. Please answer, thank you._

    • @DrivingSchoolWA

      don't overshoot the letterbox as that is the property line. They shouldn't fail you if you do but you lose marks (if the assessor is reasonable) Good luck

    when you pull over to the side of the road to commence the task do you need to turn your wheels to the curb and turn the vehicle off with it in gear?

    • @DrivingSchoolWA
      @DrivingSchoolWA  4 года назад +2

      if it's not level you need to turn the wheels towards kerb, you don't turn the engine off and first gear with the hand brake on in a manual car, and of course clutch in. With an automatic transmission, Park position and hand brake on. Thank you for watching!

    Hi thanks for the video, you’ve helped a lot! I have a question, I struggle to get into the correct side of the road when reversing out of a driveway, is this an instance fail if I do it in the theatre, or if my car is just slightly on the wrong side? My PDA is tomorrow.

      @@thomasstanden550 Nope :/ Nerves got the better of me, I went to turn right around the roundabout, but I was in the left lane...instant fail -.-
      And I did reverse out onto the opposite side of the road, I didn’t seem to lose points on that. I passed the left something behind activity. But yeah didn’t even make it to the parking section lol
