How much time should I budget for dropping the subframe out and putting it back -- not including other work like fixing cracks, adding plates, or changing bushing?
If it's your first time, it's about a days worth of work.

Nice video but the website you bought the plates from has actually completely ripped off a competitor. Redish Motorsport are the original designers of these plates.
Yeah it's actually very interesting because later after this video, i started putting my V10 into another e46 M3 and Redish hooked me up with their kit for the reinforcement and I noticed how similar these two kits are haha
