There is a similar mod for the stryfe, one problem is if you put powerful AA batteries, the gun will shut down. You will have to twist the voltage restrictor so the wires connect to bypass the voltage restrictor. I might upload a vid tutorial for it

Do not do this, do not mix battery types and definitely do not put 9 volts through your regular 1.5 volt AA cell. 9 volts just won’t last long in a high drain device and mixing a 9 volt and a AA battery can be dangerous.

What if I just put the 9v in the barricade and not both

Please don't do this. The AA can't handle the 7.5v difference of current. It will rupture and leak. Found out the hard way. Just cause it's cheap and easy doesn't make it safe or correct.

The problem with this mod is that the motors in the barricade are built for 3 1.5 volt batteries. too much more power will burn out the motors, and youll have to get new motors, or replace the blaster

Cartersaviking 04 No, barricade motors are actually 3s motors and can take up to about 11.1v

The barricade was made before Nerf realized they could skimp out on motors

No don’t even use 9v batteries to power flywheels, 9v batteries just can’t provide enough current and will not last very long in flywheel blasters.

Jack Harris there is a small orangish colored loop inside of the blaster, twist it 180 degrees to stop it from working and then it will allow the high voltage battery to work in the blaster
