Dilana cant write. She is a great singer BUT she is a chameleon. I can see her trying out for any singing genre. Josh on the other hand would have made a terrible frontman for SN but his original was by far the best. Guy has massive talent but hes not a heavy rock guy. I watched tommy lee listening to josh's version and you could see he didnt get it. It was very grungy. Lukas is the best choice for frontman of this crappy band. He has the look, he can write and while he tries to distort his voice too much (you're not cornell dude) he can sing. Oh, to be honest, Storm is probably the best SN choice for female. She is real and you can feel it. Dilannas lithium performance was so fake and contrived I had to cringe. Storm is a great writer/singer and probably should win this. IMO
Glad these were posted. Loved watching them again. 2nd time around I still don't like Zayra Alvarez and she should have went home week one. I know she was there for shock factor but I hated to see her mess songs up over and over and her stay when better people went home.
I personally think they only kept her around because week to week, she shifted her act up. I think they were trying to say to the others “see how she is differing each performance”, but in doing so gave her false hope.
Where was Z’s song? She should have gone before some other’s. Lukas was correct in that. Then played the same song that hit her in the bottom three which to mean only proved she wasn’t prepared and didn’t know another. She only got out of that one bc someone had a soft spot for her it seems.
Let's face it, most rock bands don't need super talented singers. So many successful bands out there simply have good enough singers....but the compenetration with the other band members, that the voice style fits the vocals, that he is a good performer on stage, that his looks and attitude sell the whole band, that he is an effective songwriter (even if he doesn't play an instrument, it's imporant that he is at least able to write some good melodies and lyrics).....that's ESSENTIAL. So in my opinion, this clinic was more imporant than any of the live performances we have seen so far, because we already know how these artists sing, we can more or less tell the strengths and weaknesses of each and how wide their vocal ranges are.....but who's the best and who's the worst that's totallly subjective and a matter of opinion and context...In the same way, this episode showed me some of the people here are not actually fit to be in the band becuse they're so different to the Supernova guys, and their vision of life is so different.
Josh and Patrice's songs were excellent. Look up Josh Logan's clinic song, or Patrice's. Their lyrics were outstanding. As was their singing. Probably the best of all of the rockers.

If I had the money, I'd totally pay Lukas to help me write a song. He could write the music and help me with the lyrics. I can't play guitar worth shit, so unless I paid him for guitar lessons too, I'd stick to working on words while he does the music. I can write, just not music.
Totally agree!! I think they saw early on she wasn’t “lead” material for their band, the same with Zaraya (sp?) and should have let them go earlier on. And don’t get me wrong, they both can sing, just clearly not the “lead” they were looking for. Doesn’t matter now, as they never took off as a band, but I personally think Dilana would have made a better front person over Lukas. He had a nasally/raspy sound and Dilana (sp?) did also, (raspy) but...... she could change it up, he did not (ALL MY PERSONAL OPINION)
What I can gather from the other episodes she didn't take constructive criticism as well as the others she took it more personally, granted she has a great voice but their comments were there to try and help her more than hinder
Lukas used to have such cute puffy cheeks! He's still Hot AF now, but his cheeks aren't so puffy. I guess that's the difference between 29 (The age he was here) and 43 (The age he is now)

yes, and then later when they had to perform their own compositions his song was so much more sophisticated and dramatic than the others.
