  • When offering laser engraved items, the ultimate way to gain sales and make more money is by being able to customize your items to each customer. Call-back sales are great but what's even better is being able to do it in real time as they wait and before they run off to the next booth and forget you. This is where the xTool F1 laser can shine. Its dual laser of both UV and IR can custom engrave most items quickly and on-site while your customer waits. It's super lightweight and barely takes up any space at all so it's easy to bring along to any show and maximize your sales. I test out the laser on a number of materials to give you ideas of how to increase sales at the shows and fairs you attend.

I’m so jealous! I’d love to have for craft shows. Think it might be a game changer for the shows! Thanks for sharing!

It really is a cool compact laser that could easily boost sales and draw attention to a booth at craft fairs! Thanks for watching!

Definitely out of my budget at the moment but this is something I would like - I have plenty of ideas.

It is a bit of an investment for it's size, but if you're in the position where doing on the spot engravings would boost sales, this could pay for itself quickly.

Thanks for reviewing this laser. I like the high resolution engraving. We have an M1 and we are still playing around with all the possibilities after several months. There is definitely a learning curve and the Xtool was a good entry point. I am interested in how this model works at shows. It looks like personalized items are very popular and we are thinking of selling items at small niche festivals. This was a great video!

Another great video from Vintauri, Fast paced and informative as usual. But I think in his haste Steve misspoke and called the 455nm light of the laser UV, but it visible light not UV. However, that doesn't take away from the fact that it is a good overview of an interesting new laser. I especially liked the fact that he went to the trouble of creating lots of samples to show us what the IR feature of the laser can do.

Yes I did mis-speak saying Ultraviolet instead of Blue Violet light. Good catch on that. I'm glad you appreciate the multiple tests. I try to make sure I give these machines a good thorough run down on as many of their capabilities before making the videos. It can take a while but I'd rather have more complete examples and information on these videos.

I saw this laser first on another channel and it interested me. You seemed hesitant about using it at craft shows when I brought it up on one of the Sunday night live streams because you were worried about laser light getting out from under the shroud especially if you are using either the conveyor belt or rotary tool. I will be very interested to see what you think after using it with those items. This is on my list to acquire specifically for craft shows. Thanks for looking at it. Looking forward to more.

It's great with the shroud all the way down and I would have no problem letting people watch it work in that set up. I did run some tests with the shroud mostly down over a larger object and it was okay, but I'm curious how it will work with the slide extension. Hopefully I get a chance to test that in the near future. I still think it's great for craft shows, but you may want to consider a second layer of light protection if you think you'll be using items larger than 4-5" that wont fit inside the shroud.
