I love how Joe is so gagged about Love being a psychopath when he too, is a psychopath. I guess he prefers to be with potential prey over a fellow predator, it probably intimidates the poor guy.
I don’t think he had that much of a problem with it until she started killing without some sort of plan.
It's his idea of masculinity vs feminity. Men are bad for the most part to him (lack of self-awareness) and women are fragile things that need to be “helped & protected” because they're vulnerable and weaker. I believe that his natural toxic masculinity is shown more in the books. You even see this reflected in his reaction to his child “ending up” as a boy instead of a girl. He was fresh out the womb and Joe was judging his whole future.

We seen through last season and this season that love isn't the one to forgive and let people live, if Joe haven't stopped her, she would have kill 6 people in total this season. I think she just let her live because she can be a witness and back love up, if she gets caught.

I did appreciate Love a lot more this season than I did last season. Joe's crazy ass will always find a a way out of his foolery. The nicest thing he did was giving Henry to the gay couple (the sanest ppl in the show). And Idk about anybody else but I don't think love is dead. I think she'll come back in season 4.

Okay, my theory for season 4: Joe runs around Europe for a bit. Marianne catches Joe with help from Love who turns out not to be dead and ran away with her to Paris. They put him in a cage underneath their bookstore/cafe where he lives out the rest of his days alone with our any human interaction and sometimes getting tortured by Love if she needs to release her tensions.
Why would Marienne want to put Joe in a cage as well
Or even better, Marianne realises that Joe is stalking her and Juliet, and like in The Black Phone she gets messages from Joe's victoms: Beck, Peach, Delilah,Candance and Love and they all give her tips how to beat him/ kill him for good.
Yeah she never said what she did with Candace or delilah nobody so she could of used one of them to replace hers
Or even better, Love is dead because she needed to die but then someone kills Joe in a robbery gone wrong and they both die! 🎉

I haven’t watched the show much but I’m studying psychology and I think this season is supposed to show how even if he gets the “perfect ending” with the one he is stalking, there will be another obsession to fill the “void” made from lack of stimulation and excitement he feels when stalking someone. It’s an interesting twist with some Hollywood magic but I see where it tries to give credit to true stalking behaviors
