    Materials that change colour in movement, have different tread in warp and weft this give variation in color.

      I have also heard this type of fabric called "shot", because one colour of weft thread is shot through a different colour of warp threads. It is most noticeable of the threads have luster. When still it appears to be a third colour (e.g. red + yellow = orange) but as it moves you see more of one colour or the other.

    The clothes that are 'kinda pleated but not really' are called 'Plisse'. It's made by folding and then heat treating the fabric into those folds. Mostly with synthetic, cause it half melts into that shape and keeps it, while natural fabrics loos those folds and unlike with pleated fabrics, it is nearly impossible to restore or keep that through ironing and pressing. It looks amazing indeed, if you don't mind wearing half melted plastic.
