Hi Steve... what a impressive work!!! ... wow ... respect, buddy ... what you've done can be described as more than craftsmanship. It's really masterful how you adapted the model to the original according to the template images... great art!!! happy modelling and big hug my friend, cheers Markus
Thats kind of you to say Johnny. Plenty more scratchery to come but I am hopeful the build will be finished soon and we can start the paintwork. Take care my friend and speak soon

Great detailing, Steve. Masterly work. One eye catcher to the next. Worthwhile job in all kinds. The seats looks very well and have now the right surface. Top! Best wishes and a nice weekend. Joachim

Hi Tom. I have known so many! They are on most of the pieces along with seam lines upon seam lines. For a manufacturer like Airfix they should have done better. Have a great weekend my friend and speak soon
@@SteveJonesScaleModellingSite I've ended up with a figure from tamiya quad, who looks quite like the Sgt major and a Masterbox figure, who was much smaller, for John Mills.👍😃 Sylvia Sims is proving a bit of a problem🤔😁
Hi Mike. I just hope I have done a good enough job that they do not show through the paint work. It is very poor from Airfix. Thanks for your kind words my friend. Have a great week and speak soon
Hi Dave. The cab detailing was a lot of fun to do. Glad you liked it. Many thanks for popping in and commenting. Take care my friend and have a great week.
Fantastic job done on the interior of the cab Steve, super detailing done right and a lot of research done also! Katy is coming along nicely! Wow i loved that trick with the flour and water on the green stuff, i had no clue about it. Thanks for sharing, take care and keep up the good work my friend!
Hi Bob. What a win! Todays play was awesome from the spinners. I certainly didnt expect us to win the first Test. Hopefully it will be a series whitewash LOL Many thanks for stopping by and commenting my friend. Happy modelling and have a great week
@@SteveJonesScaleModellingSite yes it was a surprise - a top Test match and one for the record books 👍 hopefully we have a new spinner who can avoid injuries 🤔
Hi Steve, the build is coming along very nicely, you are certainly putting a great effort into this build, those seats are looking particularly 'real ' since you added the green stuff, best regards from a Kiwi living in Australia
Excellent job, Steve. As far as I can tell you are bang on with the details. Next time you get a kit with ejection marks like that, get yourself a glass fiber pen for the sanding. It made my life a lot more easy 😅. Happy modeling, Any
Hi Any. Many thanks for your kind words my friend. Much appreciated. I tried the fibre pen a few years ago and found that the glass shards were a real pain to clean off the model. The ones I missed then got into the paintwork and spoiled the finish. I do scrape off the shallow injector marks but these ones were so deep they needed filling. Take care and speak soon
Another great video Steve. Certainly a lot of ejector marks to fill. I like the idea of a thin coat of cement over the filler. What filler are you using? Some superb, scratched additions to bring this into line with the reference photos.
Hi Jim. Hope you and the family are well. I use two fillers. Humbrol grey filler for the deep stuff and Perfect Plastic Putty by Deluxe for seam lines and for the shallow marks. Glad you are enjoying the build and many thanks for your kind comments.
Hello mate. I hope you and the family are well. The spring flowers are stating to come through. The garden is a real mess but its nice to see a bit of colour. Luving your small house build. I brought Lisa one for Christmas but it is still in the box LOL. Great to hear from you my friend and speak soon
It looks great so far , amazing that you’re even adding the hand brake , like the one in the movie .
Great work.
