@@imrobotjo No probs man and thanks for the help and encouragement! Yeah I still love my Switch to bits, I have a huge back catalogue and there’s yet still more games coming out that I want to buy/ play. Then the Switch 2 is storming in and I’m pumped for that too. Never before have I had more Nintendo than I can handle and it’s glorious!
Nintendo knows how to do two things: 1) Weird new ideas 2) Play it safe Here Nintendo has chosen to play it safe. It will be okay as long as the Switch 2 doesn't continue the Switch 1's tradition of holding back the rest of the consoles with its smarphone APU from 2010 (clock speed-wise, it was barely faster than a $25 Raspberry Pi, and the same speed as a $40 Orange Pi) Also, there'd better be hall effect sensors in the joycons. Because stick drift is not a feature.
Yeah they better sort out the stick drift issue or there will be riots haha! If you place your ideas as opposite ends of a 10 point scale. So weird/ wacky Nintendo on the left (0) and play it safe/ keeping with tradition on the right (10). From what we’ve seen so far I’d say Nintendo Switch 2 is at a (7). The OG Switch would be a (3) and Wii (1). My prediction is that Switch 2 will jump to (5) in April. But we’ll have to see! Hope that makes sense? 🤣
Nintendo, when successful is the least innovative games company. Nintendo in the 90's (speaking to Congress) "you'll never see Night Trap on a Nintendo console" Nintendo in the 2000s: "give us Night Trap and all the hentai games too"
I’m not sure it’s as black and white as that. Plus the 90s was a long time ago (I would know I’m a 90s kid 🥹, Nintendo has changed a lot in that time. The Wii was very innovative and made Nintendo very successful. So was the Nintendo DS. I’d also argue that the Nintendo Switch OG model was pretty innovative and is wildly successful; I mean it’s already the best selling console of all time in the USA. With what we’ve seen of Switch 2 so far; I would say it’s not as big of a leap from something like GameCube to Wii or GBA to Nintendo DS. But innovation often comes from the unique combination of hardware and software. That’s why I’m eager to see the software side in April. That’s when I think we’re going to get quite a few new surprises that’ll win a lot of people over. Can’t wait to see! Btw - what’s your favourite Nintendo console?
There will always be contrarians. They come in three types; the rational, the dogmatic and the hateful. The rational ones can put forward a solid argument for their reasoning. The dogmatic ones usually are devoted to a competing platform like PC or PlayStation and the hateful are just people who are never content with anything. Sometimes it’s a combination 🤣 What are you most looking forward to seeing come to Switch 2?
Since you mentioned the massive amounts of Joycon colours, I wonder what special edition Switch 2s will be released. Mario and Zelda are basically guaranteed, but I would love to see a Pikmin themed one. Pokemon Legends ZA is also fairly likely to receive one too I guess
I don’t think we’ll see special editions right off the bat. But they will surely come, and, that’s very exciting! Love the idea of a Pikmin Switch 💚 The gold Zelda editions always look stunning. I’m really tempted to buy the Majoras 3DS and TOTK OLED Switch…but I’m going to have to save my pennies for Switch 2 or else I’ll go bankrupt haha. Maybe one day this channel will blow up and I’ll be able to get more Nintendo stuff with the ad revenue… ah to dream! One of my fav Switch special editions is actually the Splatoon themed one. That one had multicoloured Joy-Cons which was pretty unique! What’s your fav special edition Switch?
@@shaper12354 YES! I mean technically some OG Switch games had voice chat via the separate Nintendo Switch Online app... but that kinda sucked! If they build an integrated voice chat / messaging system it'll be a huge improvement! What launch titles would you be most excited to see?
What’s the most ludicrous thing you’ve seen being said about the Nintendo Switch 2 online? 🤔
Let me know! 👂🏻
Thanks for the shoutout. Keep going. You have something here. I’m re falling in love with my switch lately so I can’t wait for the switch 2!

@ the Labo Switch is funny, but I really like the design of the Pokémon Scarlet/Violet Switch
