The two or so minutes they played on the radio and which I also caught on tape left a lasting impression until I finally discovered who sang it in the summer of 2000. I have no doubt it got played in the club's here but I didn't frequent them that often to know.
@@robertspiegel9215 Thanks Robert ...The song got a new lease of life in a trilogy of films produced in the UK ...Called "The Essex Boys Murders .3 known drug dealers were lured down a dark country road and murdered in cold blood .They had been responsible for distributing ecatasy in local night clubs where a girl died .The killers were jailed for 30 years but always maintained their innocence ..In the film "Rise of the footsoldier" the track is played in the nightclub to replicate the Acid House Scene in the UK
Can you tell us more as very little info on the record .its been used in a lot of films about the Essex boys murders so hopefully your receiving a royalty...what did you use for the drums
@@craigb1232 Never got any money from the movies though I'm sure the record label got paid! Drums are a mix of Roland 808, 707, a Kawai R-100, and some stuff I created with a Roland Juno-106 and a Casio CZ-101 and a Kawai-K5, all mixed together and sampled into a Akai-S900 with the 16-bit expansion board. Sounds great on big speakers in a club as it was meant to be🙂
