I’ve had mine for less than a month. I used it with a 7.5ah battery. I had to recharge the battery so I swapped it with a 5ah and the motor stopped running. When I put a fresh battery on all the lights turn on, misting too but the fan doesn’t run.
Watched plenty of videos on the EGO fan but none of them seem to tell you that you have to buy the battery with retails for about $180 and the charger which retails for about $180 separately totally almost $700 for the fan, charger and battery. No wonder I have seen these fans at store marked returned.
Guy at lowes gave me a pro tip that should have been obvious. Buy a tool that comes with a battery rather than buying a battery and charger alone. You can get a 4AH battery and something like a leaf blower or weed eater for 250. Still 500 bucks, but better than buying battery by itself.

This fan only makes sense if you are already in the EGOsystem. Pun intended.
Yup battery stuff still has awhile till it meets real equipment.
