Bought my Ego mist fan from Lowes a few days ago. This fan is very nice-love that it doesn't have a cord. Its a GREAT portble "mancooler"inside the house. Can see me using the fan as a floor-carpet dryer after using the Kirby shampooer.
Another excellent review! I’m in love with the EGO products! I sleep with a fan and having one of these in the event the power is out, would be so nice.
Nice for putting on a porch and keeping the bugs away or blowing smoke away from a grill. Great for people that have troubles with heat and humidity. Would absolutely come in handy for black & brown out power outages. Nice for gardening. Might even come in handy if you need to dry a floor. Great review video, thanks!
@@TechMadeEzy You don't want to hook a hose up to it. There's a filter on the existing end of the hose for obvious reasons. You could trickle water from a hose into the source feeding the fan so it's filtered that way. I use a lot of ice and filtered water from the fridge dispenser and it's amazing!
I guess it would but Ego doesn't make jobsite tools so you would need to use multiple battery platforms. To me it doesn't fit their focus of OPE. I can't get excited about this release but if Ego's "sister company" Flex came out with this product then I could see it fit the jobsite as it would use the same battery as their hand tools.
Just got the basic setup from Ego .love your videos. Keep up your awesome work and more reviews after a long time using your line up. things are 👍and 👎
Any tips on how to take the hubcap off the wheels? My fiancé didn’t tighten the screws enough 😖 and I can’t figure out how to get the hubcaps off and tighten them.
This would be great for a gym. I wonder if the 12 amp battery might use a slightly different chemistry or internal layout because it doesn't scale at the same rate as all the previous batteries (otherwise it would be 12.5) and they also can't keep making every new battery physically larger than the last one.
@@APrawks I suspect EGO might have changed things up a bit -- I managed to buy two of the 12 Ah batteries and they're virtually the same size as my old 7.5 units, only a bit heavier.
Saw the video looks like this can work well for the bench , on a soccer field , cannot for the life of me find out where to purchase the product ..... Help please
Curious to see what the price will be. Based on their other tools I'm guessing at least $199. Although the mister is nice for that price it needs to do a lot more. No oscillation, thermostat or timer? Those all seem like basic features that a good fan should have. Great video and thanks again for sharing!!
I'm a big Ego user, but for $300 this should have been an ultrasonic mister. Even the $10 walmart fans have ultrasonic. I have Ego Z6, trimmer, LT1000 light, Nexus 3kw generator, blower, edger.
I'm sold, I want this! The only thing this is missing is a way to connect directly to a water hose, but not a deal breaker. I actually have a idea if possible, to set this up right next to the pool and have the intake filter take the pool water. But then you have the chemicals from the pool so don't think that's a good idea.
let's do some time and math with this mister. Since they mailed you one for free. How long will 1 gallon of water last? I can do the math from here...Continuous mister will eat a gallon of water up just as fast as our government spends money Can you extend this line which will allow a larger container for water? A tailgate party last more than 5 hours. Can you hook a water line up to it?

@@TechMadeEzy can this fan be hooked up to a water hose; and continually using the water coming through the hose?
It doesn’t have the same connection as a hose, not sure if there is an adapter you can buy? You’d have to look into that

Good info
I finally got this and I absolutely love it! No cords!!!! The low speed is super quiet!
Having their batteries definitely is an advantage. They have so many nice add-ons to their tools. Enjoy and thank you for watching our video.
Palm Springs, CA. 120F. And I can still sit in the Sun. And I'm comfortably cool. YES IT WORKS!!! The mister heads come apart to easily clean.
Nice 👍🏼
Good job !!! You did.( description and fan with water. Easy To see the water moving.)
Thanks
This will be perfect to have on the patio by the pool!
I like that your channel is gaining fans!!
Interesting product. I had not heard a word about it. I have a Ryobi misting fan. Great unboxing and information.
You're lucky to have fans like us on your channel that's why they sent you a *Fan* lol nice video demo by the way cheers😁
Thank you
That will be a nice thing to have during the summer on jobsites. Great video.
Thanks Colby

Now that is a very cool fan! I bet it sells out this summer.
I’m gonna go with Brooklyn as the star of this review…lol! Super “cool” dog 😎

Thank you
Great review! Brooklyn's so disciplined...lol.
Yeah she's a great girl she's trained well but they have such a great demeanor
I am an EGO booster but it seems loud and expensive. I am sure some will find it worth it and useful still. Thanks for the unboxing and review.
Thanks
Totally understand, not made for everyone but it's nice to have another tool available if you have an ego battery.
great fan for summer
Any tips on how to take the hubcap off the wheels?
My fiancé didn’t tighten the screws enough 😖 and I can’t figure out how to get the hubcaps off and tighten them.
Try a small screw driver to pop them off
Perfect! Thanks.
30F probably isn't cold enough without adiabatic cooling, but it sounds like you are on your way to snow making! 🥶

DeWalt and FLEX are using Powerstack and/or stacked lithium technology. It allows you to keep the same form factor while increasing battery capacity.

Love mine to,,nice video
It is nice and I like that. It really doesn’t use a lot of battery if you have it on like medium thank you for your comment and your compliment.
@@TechMadeEzy yeah I use it on 2 all night,,uses nothing

find out where to purchase the product ..... Help please
Lowes but stock is hard to find
Is what we are hearing the PUMP when it sprays? Seems pretty loud no?
When it's on continuous that pump stays on longer and that is that sound you're hearing besides the fan
I wish Ego would support dual power as competitors do in this price range.
Love the fan and your great review .Does the fan run on ac with out a battery installed ?
Thanks , no battery only sorry
Is the hose replaceable? The place I'm thinking of using it for has mouse problems. I couldn't see the end connected to device.
Thanks for watching, I would check with EGO I would think so.
How come you had all those batteries and dind't share what kind of runtimes you get with them?
I didn't do run time tests, this was an intro when the product 1st launched.
How long does it last with the 2 amp hour battery?
Looks like EGO doesn’t have run times in their manual on this one

@@TechMadeEzy thanks!
Sorry I couldn’t help any more
Just get the Ego Nexus Genererator and buy a plug-in misting fan of your choice for 1/3 the price.
Be interested to see how it felt at distances
where the charger for battery, can you show how is the charger works
Hi Samuel Charger and battery sold separately, just plugs in
Can you use unfiltered water from the lake or river?
I’d ask EGO to be sure but the tip does have a simple filter on it,
Man I might have to switch to EGO soon if Greenworks don’t start making some more tools.
It's been a long time so it's nice to see EGO with new additions
@@TechMadeEzy yeah did you see the snow shovel attachment? Bout time they got one of those to!
I wish to purchase this but the main site has it as coming soon. Ugh.... I wish I could purchase this now.
Can you plug it in to ac
Just battery no ac
@@TechMadeEzy thanks
Here in India, temperature 🌡️ will touch 40° degree centigrade in summer. Will it be useful if I purchase this one? Please suggest.
That’s up to you they should launch soon
I cant tell which one of your links is for purchasing this fan, just sayin .Great review though .
Very unique

Hi Jason, Thanks for watching, I think the chemicals in the bleach after a while will possibly become an issue inside of the machine
Any idea how long it runs on high with a 5ah?
No I would recommend a larger battery at that point
Love it
The misters need a mrs... 😆
That's nice
Nice to have a tool to use with all my batteries
I am an Ego fan
I like the product but it's loud. I don't know if it's your audio or not. It needs to be quieter.
Mister makes it a little louder but the fan is pretty quiet by its own
have you measured the sound??
No
@9:20 Really? That was so bad, it was funny.
is the motor brushless?
No mention of
@@TechMadeEzy you'd think that would be something you'd want to make known if it was.... thanks
It is brushless
Isn't it getting everything wet from the misting? If so the misting feature is useless indoors?
You wouldn't use Misting indoors, just leave that off and only use the fan
It’s to loud after 3rd speed, the handle slides back in to easy so makes it hard to push, it is a beast to lug around, not so impressed with it so far
I wish to ppruchase this but the main site has it as coming soon. Ugh.... I wish I could purchase this now.
Hi 👋 It should be out soon, when it is I will post Amazon links but Lowes will probably get it 1st

Put the line in a garbage can, no you can’t hook a line up to it, see the video and see the tip I showed
No trae batería qué tontería más grande
si tienes herramientas Ego puedes usar las mismas baterías
Horrible sound 🤔😳🤯
