Wow! To change my mindset from nervous to excitement! I am going to use this practice at all times. Thank you Dr. Comer. Please do more videos, as leaders, we need them.❤
I plan to use some of these techniques in some phone interviews I have this week. To retrain my brain from thinking, "I'm scared to death" to "I am so excited to be speaking with these people." Thanks so much!
@@dr.jeffcomer5185 Well, I think my confidence completely surprised, and might have even been a bit unsettling for the first interviewer. I wasn't surprised that I did not get the job, but I really didn't think it would be a great fit anyway. However, the second interview I had with a different company ended in a job offer which I accepted! I definitely appreciate your video as I watched it at the right time in my life. Your advice helped tremendously. Thank you!
@@ChrysalisMedicalCoding congratulations! How exciting! I’m glad you landed the job, and I’m so honored that my information was helpful! If I can ever do anything for you please reach out anytime!
Hi Eli. I’m so glad you like them! I’m going to do a few more videos over the next couple of weeks! Let me know if there is anything that you would specifically like as well!
Hi, Jeff! Thank you for making this series of health administration videos. I am currently pursuing a BHA degree & plan to get my MHA later on down the road. I am introverted myself and I have been trying to find videos about health administration, as I am trying to learn as much as I can before I graduate next year. I will be 24 when I graduate with my BHA, so I am afraid of people not taking me seriously. I do have 5 years of CNA/CMT experience. Can you make a video about how you started out and any tips for rookie administrators?
Hi Erin, Thank you so much for the comment! I'm so glad the videos are helpful. I completely understand what you are saying. I felt exactly the same way you do when I was starting out. And candidly, I still do! But being an introvert is not a weakness - you will inherently be a better listener, which makes the people you interact with feel valued and appreciated. And that is a great trait in a leader!should
