Hey! We are Lydia and Wehan, welcome to our channel 💙🚐
We're from Perth (Australia) and are currently doing the big lap of Australia in our self converted Sprinter van.
Feeling unfulfilled and unhappy after building the life we thought we should want, in 2021 we decided to to sell our house and quit our corporate jobs so that we could go on the big lap of Australia in our self converted Sprinter van. Having barely travelled previously (besides a one off trip to Bali) and being hardcore 'planners' we were worried we were making a huge mistake but we've been on the road for almost 2 years now and haven't looked back.
Our goal is to continue to push ourselves outside our comfort zone; seeking new adventures, learning about new cultures and seeing as much of the world as possible. We hope you enjoy watching!

Thank you, it is such a beautiful drive! The coastal areas of NSW have been amazing and we understand why they’re so popular but there are some equally beautiful spots inland and lots more free campsites inland! 💙

NSW has been pretty unlucky with rain recently, the further north we’ve been the better it has been though. The forecasts seem to predict a lot more rain, then it never gets as hectic as they say it will thankfully. 🙌

The "Big things" are everywhere in Qld! Here are but a few....big mango, big pineapple , big gum boot North Qld. I look forward to you guys having some fun with them. 😊
Also the Atherton Tablelands are worth a visit when you get to North Qld.
Yes the big mango and big pineapple are on our list, super excited! 🥭🍍 We have actually started planning for North Qld and started looking at the Atherton Tablelands, it looks beautiful out there. Let us know if you have any recommendations for that way 💙
@lydiaandwehan I grew up in Tolga on the Tablelands, and some of my family still live there. My husband and I did a road trip from Brisbane (our home) to Atherton.
Anyway, try to get to Yungaburra, Lake Eacham (turtles in the crater lake), Tineroo Dam (hopefully, the spillway is releasing water at that time! and Kuranda if you like markets and trains and your timing is right. . Such a beautiful drive! Also, beware the Gillies highway.....very windy 🤢.

Nice guys. You’re in our stomping grounds now. Nice drive isn’t it. Heads up, local here. Dorrigo is pronounced Dor-reh-goe. Not Dor-eee-go. And Dumaresq is Due-Merrik.
Wolla-mom-bee Falls. The Wollomombi River joins Chandler River here. It’s the Chandler River you see in the second lookout there and it’s one of the major tributaries of the mighty Macleay River.
